Bobbio, in Washington state, any emission test station can provide you with a waiver, if your vehicle fails a retest after diagnosis/repairs by an Ecology Authorized Emission Specialist.
You will need to provide itemized receipts that show that at least $150 was spent on emission diagnosis/repairs of the test failure.
Vehicles with missing or tampered emission control equiment will not be waived.
I will give them credit enough to realize not everyone has the money to pay for expensive repairs. As of now, only cars model year 2009 and higher are exempt from emissions testing, as are certain hybrid models that receive 50 miles to the gallon.
It’s been a long, exhausting work week. Bad stuff happening and my division chief was especially nasty to me yesterday afternoon. He’s never talked like that to me. I was shocked, and then I was extremely angry. I’m still angry. I didn’t deserve it in the least bit, but he’ll never apologize. Fortunately, he avoided me today and I repaid the favor by ignoring him too.
We’re going to a blues concert at a park tomorrow. I hope the weather is decent. After the concert, we’ll go hang at friend’s place. But first, in the morning, I have to be downtown for my booby smashing test. :rolleyes:

Being very lazy tonight. mr ems handed in his work truck so I picked him up from the yard then we went and got my suitcase from the airport that did not make it home with me last night.
Then we realised we were out of wine :eek: so went and picked some up which is now chilling nicely. And now we are sitting in our jammies at 6.30 on a Friday evening. Niiiiiiiiiice

I worked, then watched the NHL Draft. Tomorrow I’m going home “sick” early. I lady I’m “just friends” with invited me to her place for her grandkid’s birthday party.

Scruffy allowed me to sleep till after 5 - I guess that’s progress. When I took her out, I saw that it was mid-60s, so the house is now open till it gets too hot again. Scruffy and Taz got flea stuff on them last night and Ziva will when I can corner her. No idea where she was last night.
Today’s plans - laundry, lawn-mowing, and maybe sorting thru crap in the basement. I’ll play it by ear. **FCD **was up briefly, but he’s back in bed. We may or may not go to breakfast when he gets up. Meanwhile, I get to read my funnies in peace, except for the idiot cats…

Today I get to go watch a storage buildin’ get demolished. Hey, watchin’ stuff get knocked down is always entertainin’, right? Also, since I have coupons for the fairly decent bbq place, dindin shall be bbq. It’s buy one dinner get a second for ninety-nine cents. Cheap and easy just like OYKW! I got to be the first one to say that this time.
MOOOOOOM I should mow but I gotta feelin’ it ain’t happenin’ even if my yahd is beginnin’ to look like the neighborhood white trash lives here. Just don’t wanna. This evenin’ I need to make up some cornbread dressin’ for tomorrow. We’re havin’ turkey breast, dressin’, candied sweet N.O.T., green beans, squish casserole and bday ice cream cake for N.O.L. tomorrow. I’m doin’ the turkey breast, dressin’, and giblet gravy (cause as y’all know I am the only person in the world that can do that right. well in my world anyways). It’s all for a friend’s bday who wants turkey and dressin’ and ice cream cake. So, we’ll all munch away at da cave even if I don’t mow. They’ll get over it cause they’ll be too busy scarfin’ down turkey and dressin’ and ice cream cake.

Yard is mowed, 2 flower beds are weeded, load of towels in the washer, to be followed by a load of jeans. Then we’re driving out to Herndon to get something for the aquarium. When we get home, I’ll finish the laundry.
And while we’re gone, I’m leaving the windows open - it’ll get warm later, but I like the fresh air! So nobody sneak over and peek in our windows!!! 
I’ve been up since around 5:30. I need to hop in the shower and get ready for the ol’ booby smooshing thing today. I really don’t want to go, but I’m the one who scheduled it for a Saturday, so that’s all on me.
The weather isn’t looking great, but I hope it improves because we’re supposed to go to an outdoor concert in the park later this afternoon.

Up at 5.30 and ran **mr ems **. Seeing as he handed in his work truck yesterday we are down to one vehicle. I am a good wife.
One the plus side 2 loads of laundry done and now I am drinking my venti quad shot non-fat latte and relaxing in the nice cool house. Got to go get a birthday present for my god-daughter and a couple of birthday cards to mail off on Monday. Other than that nothing much going on this weekend.

Howdy from JDD’s place! I’m here with two dirty old men. That be JDD Partner and OYKW. The gentlemen tearin’ down the buildin’ are two very burly young bearish types. Partner is goin’ to irk in a little while so that’s why I was over here to begin with so somebody would be here while this is happenin’. Anywho, the two guys showed up and next thing I know the fool is on the phone callin’ OYKW to tell him he needed to get here and check out the scenery. Mind you, he (OYKW) is supposed to be doin’ paperirk stuff at his place but is instead here right now and the two of 'em have all but gone outside and drooled over those two hard at irk young men.
Like I said, dirty old men! I talked with JDD a little bit ago and told him this. He, of course, knows that I am the very soul of propriety and decorum so he asked me to make sure Partner and OYKW don’t drool on the furniture.
Partner has to leave in a bit for irk and I will make OYKW go do his paperirk. Sheesh!
Then again, this is part of why I love 'em.
My internet router was being a bitch. Damn thing kicked me off then changed network ID name, password everything. :mad: Tech support was awesome - two voice prompts got me through to a real person - 5 mins later everything was sorted out and I am back online! Yay! Give that guy a raise!
Been to the dog park, washed three dirty dogs, took Dad to the bookstore and to WalMart, and stopped for burgers and brought them home. I got one for the clean, sweet smelling puppies, too.
Next up: Sam’s Club, Walgreen’s, and mani/pedicure. And dinner-cooking later. And laundry thrown in there somewhere.
