My wife and I stock our pantry pretty well, and when I was reviewing the cracker section the other night, I noticed this. A box of Rosemary Triscuits, a box of Sun Dried Tomato Triscuits, a box of plain Triscuits, and three boxes of Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits. Yea, they’re a hot item in our house.

I’m downright giddy as a matter of fact. Be sure to explore the topping options, it only makes them better.

Never been a fan of toppings. I much prefer to eat them as is. I’m accepting of their underlying Triscuit-y goodness and don’t feel the need to smother them with another flavor.
Ooo I have been singing with rapture over these things for more than a year! I bought some for a work party and they sat there, uneaten by the unwashed masses and I was like DUDE THESE ARE FABULOUS. Nobody partook – and so I just lifted the whole box and took them home.
It is true about the hummus; it’s my favorite cracker or chip to eat with it. (And my hummus is killer; secret ingredient: silken tofu.)
I have a box of the olive oil with cracked pepper and the ones with rosemary and olive oil. I also have Sabra classic hummus, cilantro and chive yoghurt dip and Amore Italian double concentrated tomato paste to put on top of them.

While I love them, beware the Roasted Garlic. I was addicted to them while I was pregnant, and my husband told me my resulting bad breath was what drove him to sleep on the sofa for weeks. Do NOT try to snuggle after Roasted Garlic Triscuits.

which is why it’s a good thing the divemaster is even more of a garlic-crazed biped than i am. our mantra is ‘if it doesn’t move, put garlic on it.’
(however, just between you and me, i keep my roasted garlic triscuits at home. mine! mine! mine! mine!) with apologies to the seagulls in that cartoon movie with the little clown fish.

There’s even more to be said for a plain Triscuit. Nothing on it.

I agree. I’ve had some of the different flavors of triscuits, and they’re not bad, but the thing is, I really like the toasty wheat flavor of the plain ones (or better yet the low-fat ones: I dunno whether it’s psychological or gustatory, but I think they taste better), and the flavors on the flavored ones obscure that wheaty goodness.
Has anyone else tried these specifically because of this thread? Thanks, Omniscient, you’ve created an addict. First, it was just a single box to see what y’all were talking about. Then it was three to make sure we had “enough”. Now, it’s become the staple on our every grocery list. With gruyere, it’s just heavenly.
I had never even heard of them until this. I went to Costco and got a giant box of regular Triscuits. If my Triscuit desire is somehow ruines because of these things, I’m coming after you, Omni.

Not exactly, but I had a box that I had happened to buy just before reading the thread.
