Just out of curiosity, if you watched this episode, did Brendan Fraser seem kind of off? It’s like he wasn’t all there. Or is that how he usually is?
Wow, 104 views and no replies. I guess I was the only one who thought that Brendan Fraser wasn’t quiet all there.
I haven’t watched the show yet - it’s on late at night you know.
 Crap, I meant 4/19 :smack:
Think I’ll report this to a mod and ask them to change the title.

UH-oh!

Thread title fixed.
Thanks.
Oh, I actually meant that I just tape it every night and watch it later on, but now that you mention it, I can’t actually see the future either.
ETA: But in my world, Monday’s episode is actually technically Tuesday’s episode because it comes on after midnight.
I half-listened to it while getting ready this morning. He seemed extra-goofy but I couldn’t tell if that was him just being “wacky” for Craig’s show/demographic/whatever, or if he was out of it, because I’m not sure I’ve seen him interviewed before.
You can’t? Why not?
He seemed to have a hard time coming up with words and…I was thinking maybe he was really tired or something.
Wait a minute, I think I was right the first time because he’s on after Letterman, and Letterman is on 11:35 to 12:35, so when Craig comes on, it’s the next day. He was on 4/20 in the morning.
Ah, dammit, our screwy program is still screwed up - we got Dave instead of Craig. Bleah. Well, thanks for giving me the impetus for checking what we taped - we usually watch the oldest first, and it could have taken us weeks to figure out a boo-boo like this.
You can watch it online, if you’ve got a connection faster than 500kbps (half a megabit). Even though it’s not by CBS themselves, it has been authorized by them, as confirmed on Craig’s show.
(You may have to search for each part, but the pattern is pretty obvious.)
I’ve never seen Brendan Fraser interviewed before, so I’m not a good judge, but he didn’t seem too bright. He was very giggly, and didn’t really say anything too interesting.
Okay, I think he just looked like an actor. Maybe a little unused to doing interviews.
He sounded less articulate than his characters do, but that’s the worst of it. I think some guests on Craig’s show are, weirdly, sort of starstruck a bit, and get overly excited to be there.
It wasn’t that long ago that it was relegated to only C-List nobodies, but now they’re just as often B- or even A-List, often because they’re fans of the show. And fans get giddy and overdo it sometimes.
Well he did say he did it because his father said he should, so we know his father is a fan of the show.
I didn’t see that episode but last night Brooke Shields was on promoting the same movie, and Craig asked her if Brendan was “always like that” and she said yes.
Ah, mystery solved. I think. More or less.
Is it just me, or would anyone else KILL to hear what Craig really thinks of all of his guests?
In an interview he said he only has guests on that he is interested in having. If a guest doesn’t come back, it might be safe to say that Craig isn’t that fond of them.
