Create your own Law & Order spinoff

I came here to mention having Munch lead a show. That’s been taken and more fleshed out than anything I’d have done so instead:

Law & Order: The Rookies

A prequel series featuring our favorite officers’ first weeks on the job.

Dick Wolf could team up with Joe Kenda, now that Homicide Hunter has ended.

Law & Order: Toronto

They get one murder every four or five episodes. Most of the stories are about car theft and vandalism.

Law & Order: Anime Crimes Unit
“You’re under arrest for hanging out with a 12 year old!”
“She’s actually actually a 500 year old vampire.”

Hauls Gohan off in chains. “The government has decided that having a power over of over 9000 is too hazardous.”

The judge in every episode will be Light Yagami. The challenge will be to convince him the unsub is innocent.

I don’t want a new L/O (though it looks like they’re doing a Stabler spin off after all these years).

I just want them to cross over with Brooklyn 99 now that they’re both on NBC.

Land Order: Unstable?

He’s the worst detective in the entire history of TV detectives. Probably real ones, too.

If they made him a PI in Florida, living on a boat, and made it a half-hour sitcom…I still wouldn’t watch it.

Law & Order, She Wrote

Special unit designated to investigate the exact involvement Jessica Fletcher has with the huge number of bodies that appear whenever she’s in town.

I can’t decide whether I want them to tackle the juvenile dependency system or not. They’ve done an OK job when they’ve touched on it before in SVU, but there would surely be inaccuracies that would drive me crazy.

“Beat cops” could be a fun spinoff. Instead of the cops and DAs being the only regulars, you could have a whole cast of recurring characters: convenience store owner, neighborhood busybody, homeless guy, drug dealer, latchkey kid, etc. And they could be more than stock characters because they’d be around enough to really be fleshed out.

Law & Order: 12[sup]th[/sup] Precinct

Law & Order: WTH Are We Doing Shows In Chicago Now? Like That Makes a Difference.

L&O:LA and L&O:UK are both actual spinoffs.

LA even inherited Connie Rubirosa, who somehow miraculously had already passed the CA bar.

eta: Maybe we need L&O:SA. Set in Riyadh. Sharia law. No women in the cast, and every case ends with either death or amputation. Chunk chunk chop.

L&O: Keeping up with the Iron Chef

Behind the scenes as the Kardassian clan solves crimes while competing in a cooking competition.

Law and Order: Mayberry.

We’ll find out who fathered those puppies!

Law & Order: The Next Generation - Wesley Crusher is murdered, round up the usual suspects.

Law & Order: Bedrock - Prehistoric crime fighters

Law & Order: Weeping Angels

Law & Order Episode IV: A New Hope

.

No, it needs to be initials.

Law & Order: EIEIO.

Law & Order: Before Miranda. Initially set in 1962, young rookie Lennie Briscoe gets shown the ropes by older partners who plant evidence and beat confessions out of minority suspects. He has something approaching a conscience and digs in to find out what really happened, to the chagrin of his endless string of one-case-only partners who refuse to work with him afterwards. Young versions of Adam Schiff and Ben Stone are ADAs making their bones. A young John Munch is a snot-nosed young punk who makes everybody’s life difficult as a crusading student journalist.

L&O: Innocence

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The police, who investigate crime, and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. Sometimes they go wrong. These are the people who right those wrongs. DUN DUN

Law and Order: The Musical

Sort of like Cop & Judge Rock?
