Not pit material, as I’m not up to the “I WILL EAT YOUR CHILDREN” level of anger yet…
Cricket has a higher tier of their “unlimited” wireless internet service they don’t advertise. Just got this text message that sent me to this web page:
To Valued Cricket Broadband Customer,
At Cricket, our goal is to provide each customer the best Internet value possible; which includes reliable service at a flat monthly rate. We are always striving to develop services and policies that help make this possible.
In fact, back in February, we increased your download speed to 1.4Mbps. That means you’ve been enjoying faster music streaming and video downloads, emailing and all your online activities since February! And because Cricket Broadband is 100% mobile, we hope you’ve been taking advantage of accessing your Internet at home or on the go anywhere in Cricket Broadband’s coverage area.
Faster speeds, flexibility to be online anywhere, easy payment options, one flat low monthly rate and no signed contracts or usage overages!
In conjunction with the speed improvement, Cricket is adjusting your $60 rate plan Usage Level to 7.5GB from 10GB; effective July 27, 2010. This change will ensure that all Cricket Broadband customers enjoy a positive user experience. The change has been designed to impact the fewest customers, while ensuring the best speeds for the vast majority of our customers. Those customers who exceed 7.5GB, measured on a rolling 30-day period, will experience slower speeds; allowing for basic emailing and web browsing.
As part of Cricket’s efforts to provide the BEST INTERNET VALUE, we do not charge overages or shut off your service. That is more than we can say for our competitors. Many will charge overages of between .05- .10 per megabyte (MB) or shut off your service.
Cricket values and appreciates your continued business. We recognize the importance of access to the Internet in our customer’s lives. Whether it’s sharing pictures and emails with family and friends, checking Facebook, shopping for hot deals or managing your business accounts online — you want reliable and affordable Internet access, and that’s what Cricket delivers.

Thank you,

I’m like two beers away from heading over to 4chan and saying how much I love the new crickit plans.
Eh, T-Mobile’s site is down every single time I try to look up my account.
