Vash vs. Mary Jane
Cecil Adams vs. William Poundstone vs. Joel Achenbach
Archie Bunker vs. Jed Clampett
Quasar. Sure he looks like a glam rock reject, but his power is basically the same as GL’s, and his energy crap is always shown as yellow, thus the “one-sided fight” designation.
And in the “this ought to be interesting” category:
The Invisble Woman vs. Daredevil.
More random matchups:
Predator vs. Kraven the Hunter vs. Wolverine
Lina Inverse vs. Doctor Strange vs. Doctor Fate
Caitlyn Fairchild vs. Supergirl (mud wrestling match)
Himura Kenshin vs. Zorro
Jabberjaw vs. Jaws
Godzilla vs. G.I. Joe
Bugs Bunny v. the Borg
Or, “How to Reduce Zorro to Gibbering Pile of Goo in 0.75 Seconds”.
Tetsuo (Akira) vs the Spice Girls.
How about Batman vs Daredevil?
The Langoliers vs Joe Piscopo?
Peewee Herman vs Pauly Shore?
A velociraptor vs Whoopi Goldberg?
I like the Buffy idea. But only if she fights Gabrielle. In mud or hot oil.
I know KKBattousai already answered this but I found another site that gives more history of the bands before Wendell gets them. Quasar is essentially a superpowerful character that is never used properly. Same as Adam Warlock or any other Marvel cosmic being. The only one that ever got any attention was the Silver Surfer and even he is hard to find.
Thanos vs. Darkseid. (Okay so its been done but it still deserves mention.)
X-Men and all the whole X family vs. Legion of Superheroes (sheer numbers alone would make this a good battle)
Benji vs. Spud Mackinzie (sp?) vs. Taco Bell Dog vs. Old Yeller vs. Lassie
Ronald MacDonald vs. IT
The langoliers vs pac-man
the tazmanian devil vs Tom Green
The Borg vs The Dominion
A girl after my own heart.
Anyway…
The WB Crossover (Battle) Specials
Spike (w/out chip) vs. the kids from Dawsons Creek
Buffy vs. Felicity
and, for the sake of some “seriousness,”
Willow & Tara vs. the Charmed sisters
A have a few more:
Daler Mendhi, the Tunak Tunak Dun man vs. Ricky Martin
Liverpool soccer fans vs. Minnesota baseball fans
Anne Robinson vs Regis Philbin vs Alex Trebek in a three way dance.
