CSI: Miami Last Night (*spoilers*) - Bad Show!

I missed this past Monday’s show because the Packers were on MNF (Go Pack!), but I agree with those who have said they don’t like this show as well as CSI The Original. David Caruso gives me indigestion. And I haven’t liked Kim Delaney on the show. She seemed to think she was still on NYPD BLUE and played the Megan character just the way she used to play the Diane character.
Well, I found some good news today! Delaney will be off the show after the November 25 episode! Something about her character being “unnecessary.” Well, duh!
Oh, sure, she’ll turn up in repeats of the first 10 episodes, but at least that’s all!

Didn’t see the episode (actually have never watched the show, I work most nights), but one has to wonder whether the person who came up with the idea of a poison-filled condom had ever put one on. Nicotine is a poison and a smallish amount of pure nicotine applied to the mucus membranes could kill a guy, but I think it would take more than what would fit in a rolled-up condom. Also, I’m fairly sure it would be immediately noticable as soon as he touched the condom, as even tobacco powder can cause a burning sensation on your skin, nicotine pure enough to kill someone through skin contact would probably burn like hell. I bet you would smell it when you opened the wrapper, too.

If you’re talking about this past Thursday’s show, that DNA testing was taking place at a federal DNA processing place, not Las Vegas. I don’t think we ever really saw her face, just glimpses.

I think you’re confusing the fingerprint lady with the federal lab tech who was working on the DNA sample. The fingerprint lady was a new character. . . at least I’d never seen her before.

Aha! that explains it. Kinda. I haven’t seen fingerprint lady before, either.

The re-introduced (for the first time) the fingerprint lady. I believe she’s going to be a new character, showing up in many episodes. They made a couple of comments about her “just being off of days”, so she’s back on the night shift that the whole show is based on. All the characters knew her, and implied that they (Catherine, at least) had missed her, and wanted to catch up. She seems like a pretty good character, from the little we saw.

And yeah, the other lady was at the Federal lab, with which they were "competeing"a little to see what would happen.

(Don’t flame me for the source of this information)
Apparently, if you clean your tobacco pipe out with a pipe cleaner, then run that pipe cleaner through a cat’s mouth, it’s a fatal dose. Quickly fatal. And easier than drowing them in a bucket.
If it’s true that the residue in a pipe would kill a 10 lb. cat, I would theorize a very small pure amount could kill a person.

In last week’s murdered family show, I noticed that the two men, Frick & Frack or whatever, wore coveralls while they processed the scene. The women, however, were in hip-huggers.

Which is precisely why she has reportedly decided to leave the show in the very near future. Takes a certain kind of actor to tolerate the exposition-heavy, character-lite style of performance required for a show like CSI. I don’t blame Delaney for realizing that it’s not her bag.
