Curious about the effect of current news on the lefties of this board...

That’s why I always lie and say I voted. So you’re forced to listen to me.

No change; I vote every time I am afforded the opportunity.

No change. I’ll be voting, despite my gerrymandered district habitually leaning 65% or so Republican. Hey, a guy can dream…

Ditto.

I was already going to vote, and now I’m still going to vote, and so I guess I’m doing my part to make the poll results look even more like a middle finger?

I really wonder what it’ll do to the right. Will they turn out to keep the SCOTUS?

Ginsburg could die soon. Then you have 6 hard right voices on the court.

I always vote in midterms. I especially vote when a deranged despot is squatting in the White House.

I voted No Change.

Ditto

I was already planning on voting. The fact that I don’t have an incumbent Congressman just re-affirms that.

…wait, I’m confused, the OP asks about voting in November 2018, but then there is a “Vote Now” button…what do I do?

No change. Last week I would have crawled under live machine gun fire and barbed wire, over hot coals and broken glass in a thunderstorm in the nude to vote against all Republicans, and my motivation can not possibly increase. However, the hope for democracy now rests with Bob Mueller.

I have voted in every election for which I was eligible to vote since I turned 18 in 1972. No change.

I fully intended to vote last week, I fully intend to vote this week.

If anything, this has made me much more likely to donate a lot more money to democrats.

I’m with everyone else. I was 100% certain to vote last week (barring coma or death), and there’s been no change.

I am more likely to donate to some vulnerable Senate Democrats or D challengers in R-held seats, though.

ETA: Exactly what Celidin said. I should’ve read the whole thread.

Something particular happen last week that would make me want to vote more or less?

No change. I’ll vote, I always do.

It’s been a shit storm for a year and a half.

In that year and a half, I have become a different type of voter. Since republicans have enabled this monster (if not help create him), I will just vote democrat. Completely across the board. One way we may get out of this mess is if there is an overwhelming number of republicans at every level of government replaced. Perhaps, just perhaps congress will get the hint.

Sorry if you are a decent republican.

I concur with the above but I still intend to vote. My voting record will make it easier for Gestapo to identify me as an undesirable to be eliminated. The fortunate will be those who were killed early.

No change in the likelihood that I will vote. I always vote, every chance. I always vote for the candidate that I feel has the best chance to beat the Republican (and is not a complete fucking crook- fuck them), and I’m goin’ to do it again. This November is as important as ever.

Really? Mine keeps ratcheting upwards, to the point now where I have to remind myself direct action is a really bad idea.

No change 'cause not voting was never an option.

The trouble with democracy is that sometimes the other guy wins.

That has to be frustrating.
