Hope this is not gauche but I’d like to quote myself, from a different license plate thread, listing a bunch of utterly innocuous plate requests that were denied by perhaps overly cautious and hyperconservative DMVs:
In that light I have been very surprised by two spotted in the last few weeks in my neighborhood:
BADDASH
PRO GUN
BADDASH was a teenager’s junky sports car; I hope he has some sense of wry irony in calling himself a BADDAS[H].
PRO GUN was a very scary monster truck being driven just as you’d expect. You want to be the cop who has to pull that over? (who am I kidding – it probably is a cop)
