Custom Licence Plates — Seen in the Wild

It’s cheating to go looking for custom plates at car shows. That’s like going fishing at the fish hatchery.

Saw a very nice Porsche 911 GTS a couple days ago with FL standard plate A911⎵GTS.

Saw a Camaro with the surfer plate background w a 5 character capacity. It said ZANEB. Which I assume is a guy named “Zane B.” Except a young woman was driving it.

A few minutes later was a generic sedan with a standard FL plate with ILONKA. A Slavic name perhaps? I could not see the driver.

Yeah, they weren’t in the wild.

Obviously, then, a car show is not ‘in the Wild’?

And, Ninja’d!!

I don’t think it is.

Despite our ribbing, those are great plates and great pix of great cars. Thank you for them all.

Cute. Very cute.

I want the Lincoln.

And I want the SVO.

I’ve had a few older cars over the years. Some of which might barely have been labeled “classics”. Definitely could’ve been labeled “nostalgia pieces”.

Funny, but I now have zero desire for anything less than new. IMO old(er) cars are nothing but trouble and incapability and awkwardness. They do everything badly compared to a modern car. “Modern” here meaning ~2023 or later.

Seen today on I-70 in western Ohio: a big Ford F-450 pickup truck, with F4FIDDY.

This beer is 10.5% ABV:

I think this guy wins the thread for today.

Did you figure it out? It took me a second before it clicked…

Saw SNOOP92 on an older model Toyota this morning

And this morning I saw GVJADE on a dark green Genesis

On a Nissan Z (a tuner, with lots of vinyl and a growling engine): FAIRL4DY.

This one I don’t know the meaning of: On a Bentley Continental GTC, PREPACK. Any ideas?

NY plate, on Long Island, if that helps. I thought perhaps a company name, but I’m not coming up with anything.

On a VW Golf: DIEZELG8

Don’t know what fuel it was.

In finance, a “prepack” is a type of bankruptcy filing that fucks the creditors amd shareholders while leaving management unscathed. And usually enriching an inside-tracked “rescue” firm.

Given the car, that seems likely.
