And it just occurred to me: “Cicatrix”?
See, now - that is unacceptably cutesy :p.
We have two with names that involve “Bert”–Albert and Bertram.
I do have to say that there is no name more fun than Bert. There’s a reason the Dilbert guy sticks “-bert” on the end of everything. It’s hilarious.
Catbert. Fatbert. Fluffbert. Fuzzbert.
So, I’m pro-names that include Bert.
Actually they are girls. The ad said they were boys. We named them on the way home not knowing but I just kept there names as they fit so well.
Bob is a character. He sleeps like that a lot when it gets hot outside. He also has the largest motor of all the cats. I should have named him diesel.
Don’t let Penny’s sweet face full you. She is a bitch. She likes people but hates every other cat in the house even though she was raised with most of them as a kitten.
Uno is a girl and the mom of Penny and Bob. She lost the tips of her ears when she got out on a cold night and lost the tips due to frost bite. She also got preggers that night. She is now fixed and she has not gone outside since. Moochie is super soft like a bunny. He is also one of the sweetest cats. He gets along with everyone. I call him our good will ambassador.
Your Tribble was very pretty. I love calicos. They really seem to have special personalities well except Pugs. Maybe it is her old age but she really seems sort of well…dumb, lol.
Schmee is a sweetheart like Mooch but he has a devil streak in him. He likes to tease and chase the other cats just for the heck of it except for Gizmo. NOBODY messes with Gizmo. She is the queen and rules the house with her fat little iron paw. Elwood is his shadow. She follows him everywhere and sleeps with him most of the time. She also has learned to be a shithead and tease the other cats. She is quiet the little devil right now.
Keekers is a clean cat. She came to us at five years old and was never around other cats so it was quite an adjustment. She now can be seen laying within a foot or two of another cat but she is mostly a loner. She is my crochet kitty. She always lays by me when I crochet.
I love my kitties but I am more than full up now. I didn’t want another cat but we just had to take in Aura. She is a sweet cat and loves to be a lap kitty. I mean really with 11 cats what was one more.
I wish they would kitty pile more. The boys seem to do the most snuggling and now Elwood gets in on it too. She loves her Uncle Schmee and Uncle Moochie.
No, no, no.
Hitchen Digits or Hitch Digits for short, aka Thumbs.
SmartAleq, don’t make me come over there and yowl for co-opting the ‘Digit, Digit, Digit’ whining. Ahem.
Digit, Digit, Digit, Digit, Digit.
Sincerely annoying,
Veb
Speaking of annoying, you two are beginning to wear me down. I’ve actually tried out “Digit” on the wee fellow a couple of times. I’m not saying it stuck, but it didn’t recoil into oblivion.
I’m not saying it’s a done deal, but you might want to warm up the gloat muscles.
Yes, you have waaay too many kitties. You are virtually submerged in kitties. Please give the oldest or least cute to me.
Okay, this addresses both the heavy Goth eyeliner AND the other–Emo Digit! Now THAT’S a name to reckon with!
How about Mr. Jake Ihavetoomanycats?
:dubious:
Don’t push your luck, lady.
Aw c’mon, say it a couple of times–“YO, Emo Digit, get outta the garbage!” It’s perfect, I tellya…
- tries it out *
Nope, ain’t gonna work. Be satisfied that “Digit” is looking better and better.
ETA: Besides, it’s got a klang association like, oh… “Emo Sabe”.
Dunno why, but “Sprocket” popped into mind this evening.
I say either Dieter (pronounced in a very German way, of course), from Sprockets on SNL, or Hitch.
“Now’s the time on Sprockets when we dance.”
But if you name him Sprockets, don’t dance ON him.
Touch my monkey. Will you touch my monkey?
I was thinking more along the lines of another famous star: Gromit.
