Birdbrain dreamed up a cute new trick, rattling the door of her cage (she’s never done that before) to let me know her dishes needed servicing. 
Dinner tonight is probably leftover pizza from last night. I might make chicken biscuit cups if I get a surge of motivation, but that’s doubtful.

Today’s plans are well… nuttin’ really. YAY!!! I am gonna go help JDD and partner move an old washer and dryer out to their carport so the new washer and dryer can be delivered and installed in their stead. Somebody is comin’ to look at the old ones tomorrow as they work just fine just ten years old so they wanted new ones. Hey, I get a free N.O.L. (Mexican even!) out of it. I should say we cause OYKW will be helpin’ as well.
Other than that, it’s a lazy day. Ok, I do need to finish up ironin’ which I will even though I hate, hate, hate it!
Time for more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy.

Looking forward to today’s show. All of the returning vendors said that Friday night is always a waste but that Saturday and Sunday are pretty good. Let’s hope they’re correct. I may have made gas money back and forth last night for my 100 mile trip.

My husband was asked to sing at a baptism today, so that is where we are going at 2pm. My hubs and the kids are going to pick up MIL at the airport. Oh boy 
Hugs for Apes. If your husband does talk to his Mom about her behavior, he should focus on how it makes HIM feel when she behaves that way. Then there might at least be a hope that her reaction will focus on him, not on you. Just a thought.

Good morning!! It’s been a busy morning. We woke up early, so we went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then to WalMart to pick up some dog food and Grape Nuts and a few other things. The Marines were collecting for Toys for Tots, so while inside, we bought a couple of toys to donate, because we’re nice, dammit.
Then we drove up to the cabinet shop where I first went to get a countertop estimate. They had a slab of the kind of granite we saw a small sample of, plus they’re having a sale. The rough estimate we got was even lower than Lowe’s, and frankly, we prefer dealing with a local company, even if it costs a little more - the difference might be 3-4%, and since I un-retired, it’s not a deal-breaker. She’s supposed to get us a formal estimate on Tuesday. And I should have new counters before my birthday! YAY!
Much as I hate it, I think I’m going to dust today. I was looking at the ceiling fan in the bedroom - it’s furry, so I guess I can’t put off dusting any longer. Honestly, I’d rather scrub toilets than dust. ugh.
Other than that, no clue what the day holds. Probably some laundry, and I’ll probably empty the dishwasher. Good times in FairyChatLand!

Craft stall went OK -not great, but ok. I sold enough to be worth while, despite the fact that it was cooold, and the punters didn’t seem to be biting (several of the other stallholders just gave up and left, having sold nothing). My friend, who spend half the time there with me, her boyfriend spending the rest, sold nothing at all, which I feel a bit guilty about, but they didn’t actually have much to sell.
I think I might need to go out and buy something nice for dinner 'cos I don’t have much in, but I do at least now have some money…

I was just browsing through the Mumper recipes - boy, what happened to some of our regulars? I guess they’re still out there, but some folks just stop dropping in, I guess. Anyway, I was looking for Haze’s “lesbian chocolate gingerbread” recipe and didn’t see it on there. Does anyone have that, or remember it? That was quite some time ago, from when she was still in the US, in Chicago. Maybe she’ll see this and drop me a PM? I have a craving for some old-fashioned gingerbread!
