I arrived at the Metro at 9:45, looked around in vain for iampunha for a few minutes, got on the next train, arrived at Foggy Bottom and promptly walked the wrong way on I St for a block or two, turned around and got going the right way. Got to the coffee shop around 10:30 and found a man resembling goboy who was in fact him, and another man resembling Cartooniverse, who, oddly enough (just because 'toonie is an odd fellow), was he. (Did that make sense? No matter.) We had a lovely time 
until 'toonie had to go to work :(. SuaSponte joined the festivities remotely for a few minutes, much to the delight of all involved.
pun, sorry I missed ya–it always seems to take me far longer to get out of the house than I planned, especially in the morning. I can’t explain why you didn’t find the boys, tho.
Hope y’all are able to get another breakfast 'fest going for tomorrow; I’ll be at ChiDope, so I won’t be joining you.

Cartooniverse and PLD - I’m up for it if you guys are. When and where? I’m an early-bird, so anytime from 9am on is fine with me, but not everyone considers it a miracle to sleep past 6:30am without the aid of drugs.
Did the coffeeshop you were at this morning have real breakfast stuff, or just rolls and whatnot?
You see, he was looking for Goboy. Now that you’re Gobear, he was totally thrown off.

I guess it was. He probably figured that, after Geobabe, the rest of us would be a letdown, y’know? 
Oh mah lawdy. FIRSTof all, additional socializing with my dear Dopers would have been aces with moi. However, after Friday’s rehearsal, I collapsed in my hotel room a mere 2 blocks from Cupp’a Cupp’a, and slept badly. Saturday morning, I had to solve a technical problem and it is a damned good thing I hadn’t made plans with you folks- I’d have had to have broken them, sadly.
After Geobabe??? >>Smirk<< Is there life after Geobabe?? I’m not sure. I can tell you this- that was ME sitting with Gobear, iampunha! I was wearing a tie dyed t-shirt, and yes I’m about 6’ 2" tall. Doesn’t make me a bad man, just makes me a guy with altitude issues. 
I wish to all hell you’d strode up to me and in an authoritative voice said,
I’m bummed you were eyeballing us, and yet didn’t approach. I understand it surely, but am still bummed. As always, it was a complete joy to sit with some Dopers and pass the time of day. Gobear and I got to yell at Suaby cellular hook-up, being that he was not in the same state as us at the moment. I can only assume he took our trashy remarks with many grains of salt.
However, our little tete â tete has been overshadowed by the massively swollenly turgidly enormous Dopefest currently unfurling it’s seamy wings and taking flight in ChiTown.
