Not me. I’m lucky to get in posts with more than 3-4 sentences right now.
I’m just wondering how much someone is going to keep me on my toes. (It wasn’t a hint Elendil’s Heir)
I thought that was what you were describing, but without saying it outright, I didn’t want to leap to conclusions. If it is something that obvious, you may want to state it in the future to avoid confusion.
Knowing what it is doesn’t lessen Brin’s superstition. Palantir / drawing on cave walls - it’s all the same.
Also, I was opting for PCs (Deor) over NPCs (Renee).
Someone asked a question in post [post=9677923]227[/post].
No, it’s Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss(P Townsend)
Elven artifacts actually melting sigils of the Dark Lord off cave walls?
COOL!
I wonder if that thing would burn the swastika off the crate containing the One True Ark.
Actually, the way I Ref the game, I do believe it would.
Of course, the fact that Renee has both Galadriel and Eärendil the Mariner as great grandparents could only help. Even she cannot really comprehend the Eärendil part though. Can you imagine growing up and learning that your Mom’s grandfather is the brightest star in the sky? That is a tough one for even a Princess.
Translated: *Don’t expect her bauble to work this way for anyone else, unless one of her younger sisters also become a priestess. *
Well, I grew up and learned that my mother’s mother wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box. Does that count? (Of course Eärendil himself isn’t the star - he just carries it about.)
But that would be plagiarism
Punishable by five lashes in Gondor.
Not a very original punishment.
You’d prefer a hundred? :dubious:
I know, I know. I keed.
So which doors, the secret door or the double doors with the orcs behind it?
I’ll take “Things Bob Barker Never Said” for 500, please, Alex.
Orc injuries will not be in red any more. Glee is correct, that only confuses things.
So red will only be for the party and allies.
Gil-Gandel’s miss of an unarmored orc was at medium range, so you did have a -2 to hit, but even then I think you hit on a 2. So the good news is that at least you did not fumble.
I missed this in my haste.
But wasn’t that D&D’s favorite Gameshow host, Monty Hall with the Doors?
Hmmm, things that Bob Barker or Monty Hall never said could be another entire thread.
Gil-Gandel…
Fumble…
At Archery…
Never…
I sure hope not. Any kind of a fumble percentage makes a high rate of fire a bit of a mixed blessing.
The mind boggles!
I need a little clarification for the game thread. It sounds like the party is stepping forward into the cross passage area?
Is this correct?
