They can outfit you some light weight chainmail. It will drop your AC a lot though.
- We haven’t actually been over what spells I know. But:
- Subject to that, I thought I was a spontaneous caster?
You have the bulk of Druid spells and some illusionist spells to choose from, but you still need a spell list of memorized except for the cantrips, they are on demand.
Let’s say Stunning Discord, Hypnotism and Faerie Fire for now, then.
Finally the new thread is up.
Middle Earth FA64 D&D Game: Sixth Adventure - Harrying Harad by Sea.
In the 6th adventure thread it says Eomer is still ruling Rohan. Didn’t he pass away near the end of the 5th adventure?

Good catch and poor proof reading by me. EH caught it too. I’ll have to PM a mod to fix it when they can.
I’ve asked for this to replace the current paragraph.
King Éomer has passed away leaving the behind his widow, Queen Lothiriel of Dol Amroth. King Elfwine, his eldest now leads in all things. He is seeking the hand of Silmariën. Elfwine is a tall man of 6’ 5" with blond hair and piercing blue eyes. His features show a bit of elvish influence of his mother’s side. He speaks with a deep voice and looks to be no more than 30 years old but he is probably 50. He uses a long sword and Gwaelur knows that Elfwine was given a fine chain mail shirt as a gift from Gimli. The Chief Mearas likes the new King, his best son is Prince Elfwine’s partner. They think he is a very good human.
I suspect that Deor is 7th level (not 5th as in the intro), given the spells he can cast.
I don’t want to bug the mods too much, that seems like a minor error. Next Time I will try to send out the OP for preview by the players. I did that once before and it worked out well.
Understood. I’ll only be using it while on the water. I’ll employ the standard Dwarven Plate I’ve got when docked or on land.
Presumably even light chainmail will still drag you underwater?
Ghân will have Waterbreathing ready at all times.
N.B. The Swimming spell was an aberration by me :o (it’s was devised by my tabletop group).
Well in some cases the Sea Knight chain mail is light enough to tread water for a bit by a strong man. Even for none swimmers, it will not drag them down nearly as fast. It can only help.
Where did you get the idea for the ship from, it doesn’t look familiar?
Out of my head. I tried to make a ½ fanciful but possible design. I drew on my time in the Navy, my time working on wooden boats and my visits to the old glorious sailing vessels of the Age of Sail.
I like it. Reminded me a little bit of the ginormous treasure ships of Chinese Adm. Zheng He: http://www.whatdoyaknow.com/images/1421-ChinaZhengHeShip1405vsSantaMaria500pxw.jpg
The boat is light on sail actually but that is where the oars (sweeps) and magic wind comes in. The Elendil is designed for Gale Sailing and thus really needs strong or magic winds to sail swiftly. I would guess under normal conditions the ship would be slow under sail alone. It is more of an odd galley though for coastal operations and should not be brought out to the deeps. Large shallow boats are meant for rivers and shallow bays as I know well. Even Coastal a little iffy. I don’t show it, but The Elendil would also have to have a massive centerboard. (Movable Keel)
The central bow ramp is where I started and I built the boat around it. I was trying to come up with a vessel specifically for the Sea Knights to use. I got carried away with the berthing of the troops and went for fine detail.
This is how the most entertaining bits of D+D happen!
A fake news bulletin just overheard on the radio:
“The Internet crashed yesterday afternoon, plunging the nation into productivity.”
