Best wishes to your dad for a speedy recovery.

No news overnight.

One of my brothers is driving up from Florida.

Praying for a speedy recovery for Dad, wisdom for his doctors and patience and strength for his family.

Best wishes for your Dad, same happened to my father couple of years ago. A worrying time for you x

Visited there today.

Dad semi-awake.
Still on morphine.

Low blood pressure. On meds for this.
Less swollen than he was.

Still in critical care.

I thinking good thoughts for your Dad, you and the family. I hope he has a speedy recovery.

You and your dad are in my thoughts, Bosda.

Bext wishes for the both of you, Bosda.

My father was diagnosed with an aneurysm during a routine med exam and was whisked nto surgery the next day. The doctor who was going to operate said he would also look to see if Dad’s femoral arteries needed attention too, as they often deteriorate when an aneurism exists. “While we are in the neighborhood, we’ll check them out,” he said.

Result: A teflon aorta and two teflon femoral artery sections.

Dad was in his early seventies then, and made a complete recovery, living to be 92.

Keeping your Dad and family in my thoughts.

Meds for BP & pain discontinued.

Dad awake enough to refuse pain meds.

Still on vent, still in crit ward.

Not out of the woods yet.

Thanks for the update, Bosda. We’ll continue sending good thought your way.

Still thinking of you and your family. Thanks for the update.

Dad the same.

My brother Tom showed up today.

The Quasi’s are also still right here with ya , Bos’. Keep thinking the good thoughts and give him your strength.

Your pal

Quasi

Dad can sleep without meds, now.

Slept most of the day, he was awake for the 5PM visit.

Local friends of his, who work at Kroger visited.

Still on ventilator, still in Critical care.

Bos’,

Having worked with ventilator patients for over 17 years, I have found that being able to sleep without meds is a very positive sign that your Dad’s getting his strength back.

Hopefully his therapists are working on weaning him off the vent completely and he’ll be off soon.

Continued best wishes and thoughts for you, your Dad and other loved ones.

Bill

Sounds like he has turned a corner. Sending out continued good thoughts.
