Dad in hospital.

Today, I got the official word that it is just for observation.

He should be out by Friday.

YAY!
Good news for both of you!

The Chicken one I mean…

Sorry, my friend Bos’ but I don’t know how to make a hyperlink, and I wanted you (and Dad) to feel better!)

Continued all the best wishes from me and all the four-footed ones!

Your Friend Always,

Bill

Saw Dad today.

Another week or two in rehab.
sigh.

Bummer Bosda, I’m sorry to hear that.
Is he settling down at all? They had to put my mom in restraints last time she as in the hospital and she …um… let’s just say she didn’t take that well.

I know that I’m a ‘Johnny-come-lately’ to this thread, and will admit upfront that I’ve just skimmed over many of the posts (and, because I’m being honest about it, I’m gonna assume you’re not going to add me to the list of miscreants pilloried in this thread for failing to read the entire thread before chiming in :))

In any case, I just wanted to wish the best of luck to your dad, you, and all your family, and also to point out (as if you didn’t already know), that aneurysm surgery is about as ‘major’ as surgery can be. So, not at all out of the ordinary nor particularly worrisome to have a slow convalescence, even punctuated with some set backs along the way.

I think it’s been proved that your Dad’s a fighter, Bos’, and so are you, my friend!

Bill

Just wanted to add that (Herr) KarlGauss(;)), has provided some very important info, and we need to give “Bosda Dad” all the room and strength (in our thoughts and prayers) we can provide while at the same time supporting our friend Bosda Di’Chi of Tricor.

I hope I got that whole name right, my friend, and just wanted you to know that I am thinking of you and your Dad right now and all other times.

Thank you for reading this.

Bill

He’s a little more resigned to his need for help.

The extra rehab should be good - it will enable him to take care of himself easier when he gets home.
