Hmm. Hope he gets over that soon!
Bosda has the cold, not his Dad. The stress he’s under is bad for the immune system, it makes you suseptible (spelling?). Anyway, Bosda, please take care of yourself, stop and take a big deep breath and let it out slow and let the tension go with it.
I’m glad to hear your dad is doing better, Bos. I know how stressful it is when parents are ill. Best wishes coming your way.
Not visiting this evening, due to my cold.
Dad would be in the regular wards today, if they had an open bed.
They may later tonight.
He continues to improve.
I’m glad to hear that Bosda. Hang in there.
Hope a bed opens up quickly, Bosda. Glad to hear he’s improving.
Get better vibes are sent to you and your dad!
Good luck!
My father died of a cranial aneurysm. They managed to keep him alive for five months, and honestly it would have been better if they had let him go at the beginning. It was a horrible five months, and he never had a real chance to begin with.
I’d say your father is in better shape.
:smack:
Dad is in the regular ward, & crabby.
2-3 weeks, & he’s out & home.
Bosda, if he’s strong enough to be crabby, that’s such a good sign! Be sure to give him a chance to flirt with the nurses before you take him home. It’s part of the healing process.
Try to let your own heart begin healing too. You’ve been through a terrible fright. These things are so scarey for grown up children no matter how old we get.
With Zoe on this one, Bos!
Be sure to keep us posted and take care of YOURSELF!
Q
Bosda thanks for all the updates. I’m very happy to see your dad is in a regular ward and crabby. That’s the way he should be now. Means he’s healing. I continue to keep him, you and the rest of the family in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh and like others have said, you’re a great son to look after your dad like that but you need to take care of yourself too, ok?
He was much more clear-headed, today.
But very unhappy & snappish.
I brought him nail clippers.
Living in the hospital is a lonely, depressing and fearful time (I speak from far too much experience). No doubt he will be snappish for a while. Sounds like he continues to improve - this is good.
Dad is back in the hospital.
He was in rehab, & had breathing trouble.
Fluid in lungs.
He threw us all out of there.
Sorry to hear that, Bosda. Hope the lungs clear up quickly. Continued good thoughts headed your way.

Sorry to hear that your dad is having such a hard time. Best wishes to both of you.
So sorry to hear of the setback, Bos’ my friend. Hopefully they can give him something to draw the fluid out.
I know I cannot say a lot here, because IANAD (and we’re not supposed to), but I wish you and your Dad all the best.
I will be thinking of you and your father, and please don’t hold it against him that he’s belligerent right now, okay?
Your friend,
Bill
I’m still thinking good thoughts and wishing the best for your Dad (and you too).
