Dad in hospital.

Bos’, no sibs or other family to help be with him?

Continued good thoughts for y’all!

Bill

HE IS AWAKE!

Off the respirator!

Talking.

This is great.

That’s great news! Glad to read it.

That’s wonderful, Bosda! Thanks for letting us know. Continued good thoughts headed your way.

YAY!

Hooray! I am glad to hear he is improving.

Yay!

Wishing for a speedy recovery for BosdaDad!

Good day for Dad.

Off respirator, no need for oxy mask, just tube.

Ate jello, milk.

A little confused, but in good spirits.

Wants to be rid of catheter. (sp?) Not yet.

Visited by an old friend, a dentist he has done business with for more than 20 years.

Yay! !

Bos’,

As I wrote you earlier, I think your Dad has a terrific son and I am very glad you were able to be at his side through this critical time.

Please don’t misunderstand, I don’t wish anyone ill health, but it’s stories such as this one which make me miss my job.

Best wishes to both of you!

Bill

Dad had a setback today.

He startyed vomiting, & they discovered that he hadn’t digested any of the food he ate yesterday.

They pumped his stomach.

There is no blockage, nor bleeding.

He’s just having trouble, & they are giving him medicine.

More later, after evening visit.

Sorry to hear this.

Continued good wishes.

GT

oh man, that sucks bosda. hope he’s better tomorrow

Continued best wishes to you all.

You’re a good man, Bos. Very best wishes for your father.

He’s a little loopy, from the anti-nausea medicine.

Wants to yank the tube out of his nose, so wrist cuffs are needed.

Just getting back to the thread.

What’s the latest, Bos’?

Your Dad’s had a rough go of it, my friend. Hope he’s getting stronger and on the mend.

Bill

He popped his stitches.

Just a few, on the outside. They sewed em back this AM. Minor procedure.

And now, he ain’t raising hell with the nurses anymore.

Tomorrow, he may move out of CCU.

Moving out of the CCU would be great news. I hope he continutes with a strong steady recovery. You take care of yourself too.

Too late.

Caught a bad cold.

Seems everyone has one, locally.

Darn common.
