Well, this is the first time I’ve had a chance to post since I’ve been out here in Texas.
JustPlainBryan’s plane gets in at 4:20 PM on the 24th. I have been trying to talk him into trying to come a day or two early (because I miss him terribly), and if that happens–then we’ll be there. If not, then I’m afraid we’ll have to miss out. I do want to thank you guys for trying to fit us in, though.
Hope y’all can make it. We’re liable to be there for a good bit.

Java, I second what Ringo said. In the South, gatherings take a LONG time to end, and HouDopes seem to be no exepteion. (The two I have attended anyway.)
If it’s simply a matter of when the plane lands and traffic concerns, I think you could still make it…is he coming into Hobby or IAH?
He’s coming into Hobby. It’s not so much a concern about time, as it is about the reason why we’re in Houston in the first place–my dad and his wife. I don’t feel right having us all pick up Bryan from the airport, then turn around and say, “we’re off for a few hours with friends before we visit with you.” That’s why if he can get an earlier flight, then no problem. If we get a chance to break away on Saturday evening, then we’ll be there for sure.
Hmm…, we haven’t heard from Road Rash in a bit.
Ooh, when is this again? Maybe I will be able to make an appearance.

So how many are going? I put Joe’s into a map and saw it’s in west Houston. Metro come anywhere near that place?
Metro rolls up and down Richmond - I’d guess they can put you within 50 yards of the place, Blackeyes. Hope to see you there.
I regret to say that I will not be coming over to Houston after all for this one.
