Damn it! Jessica Simpson makes cute shoes!

I am dumbfounded. Women actually have reasons for not buying shoes?

(Yes, I’m a guy)

Jessica tends not to do pointier shoes, I’ve noticed. So, if the Vanity one is close, I’d go for it!

Pshyeah. I love your shoes. Especially that last pair!

Yesss! I was hoping the shoe-lova’s would turn out to tell me they love my shoes. Thanks.

Now, back to the spirit of the pit…(as if it can be salvaged now that we have cooed over shoes…), I hate Jay Z. What he has done to hiphop makes me sick to my stomach. It doesn’t matter to me that he doesn’t know a sketch pad from a knitting needle…I just don’t want to be associated with his ‘brand’.

Sometimes I will seesome thing that I think is cute, and I think to myself, “that would be a nice lil’ purse to carry to the show” or whatever. When I see it really close up, I notice that it is Rocawear, and I wouldn’t want anyone to think I wear Jay Z’s crap. I also notice it is usually pleather and not leather.

I should also admit that I am 35 years old, and probably a bit old to be wearing the kind of crap that Jay Z makes anyways. But still…at least twice, I have been surprised to like something with that crazy RW symbol somewhere on it.

ETA: I also realized that one of the shoe pics I posted was Guess. But Jessica has a shoe nearly identical in the round toe, so same point. She got good shoes.

I noticed one pair was Guess, but I let you slide because your shoes are awesome! ;)*

I guess I can say I understand opposition to a “celebrity” brand if there’s a serious reason you hate the person (like your Jay Z example or the above Donald Trump). If I just think that someone is some “random dumb airhead celebrity”, then I really don’t care.

  • I’ve been in this determined, “I am gonna declutter this place!” mood and told my fiance about it, and said, “and I even know of TWO PAIRS of shoes I can just get rid of!” and he starts laughing and says, “TWO PAIRS? PACE YOURSELF, WHOA!!!” Shut up, jerk!
