Damn you FOX, damn you all to hell

Granted, Greg the Bunny wasn’t exactly the greatest TV show ever made, but would it have killed you to air the last two episodes? Do I have to wait 10-15 years for the show to pop up on TVLand?

DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!
I hope baseball does go on strike and you lose millions of dollars in ad money.
DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!

One word: Futurama.

Ummmm, according to Seth Green’s interview with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show a few weeks back, FOX is going to air all of the remaining epsiodes of Greg The Bunny, so pour some water on your flaming pants, 'kay?

They canceled Family Guy. They must be destroyed.

Two words: Family Guy

But Fox is not nearly as bad as ABC, which cancelled Clerks: The Animated Series after only two episodes; and it was the funniest cartoon ever.

I KNEW that. One episode was scheduled for tonight and the other next Sunday. Tonight’s episode was replaced by a rerun of Grounded for Life and next week’s show will be replaced by a rerun of The Simpsons.

From the TV Tome episode guide:

I can’t believe they played that “Grounded for Life” dreck instead of Greg the Bunny.

I want Tardy to come live here.

The last seven minutes of the first show was the funniest cartoon ever. Almost impossible to top.

Ah, but Clerks had to die. Smith said so too. When you’re taking it up the ass from Mickey, you can’t put in the dick and fart jokes laced with impeccable wit that Clerks had. It woulda worked on HBO.
And that last 7 minutes was priceless.

FOX is desperate.

They need instant hits to take the place of their “milked” hits.

The Simpsons are (debatably) all out of charm. I used to defend the show when people said it has run it’s course. I was living a lie. There’s been only two episodes this season that I absolutely liked. It still get the ‘numbers’ though, so… who am I to say what sucks.

The X-Files Executive Producer and Creator wasn’t going to be E.P. last year, but at the last minute decided to. I believe it was FOX, not Chris Carter, who wanted the show to go on as long as it had. Carter could have quite, but they would have definitely continued the show without him. Carter wouldn’t leave his creation in the hands of others! -all just speculation

Of course FOX leaves it’s moneymakers on TV to fizzle out. Without The Simpsons, (and at one time) The X-Files, FOX is nothing more than the WB. Malcolm In the Middle might be an exception. Now they are looking for sure-things, I guess. That doesn’t give them an excuse to ‘can’ Greg. That was a good show, and I think it might have caught on. After all, Grounded for Life is still on. I knew more people who’ve watched, and more importantly, talked about Greg than I did for Grounded.

Not that I think Grounded for Life is a bad show. Megyn Price is hot.

And yet, FOX will green light any ‘Temptation’, ‘Survivor’ or ‘Idiots injured on videotape’ show that comes along…

But hey, as long as they keep showing Buffy the Vampire Slayer at THREE IN THE MORNING!!!, who can complain?

And just out of curiosity, did they really cancel The Family Guy? Over the past couple of years, it seems to be a show that only comes out in Spring for a couple of months and then leaves for a year…they keep bringing it back with new episodes, so is it really “canceled” or just “taking a break”?

Has anybody ever somehow seen the unaired “Family Guy” episode, called something like “When You Wish Upon a Weinstein”? I’ve read rumors that it might be included on a DVD collection of episodes.

The plot is supposed to center around Peter trying to encourage Chris to become Jewish. From what I’ve read, FOX said it was too controversial!!

Just how the hell can ANYTHING be too controversial for FOX?

I saw it, and remember nothing of it.

I downloaded it to be honest.

It’s possible that you downloaded a mis-named file, I saw at least one instance where a different FG episode was named “When You Wish Upon a Weinstein”.

Oh, maybe it wasn’t Weinstein.

family guy
futurama
malcolm in the middle
all three off the air. I cancelled cable.

Malcolm in the Middle is cancelled?!?!?!?!
NOOOOO!!! That was one of the few truly funny and interesting shows on TV. You must be mistaken. Please be mistaken. It was bad enough when I lost Futurama. Now my Malcolm, too?

Some one say it ain’t so.

Futurama isn’t going,
Neither is Malcolm.

At least that’s what FOX.com says.
