I’ve been in this exact same position. After a casual night of aggressive imbibition with a stunningly gorgeous co-worker, I walked her to her house, where she was so drunk I had to help her in the door. She asked me to stay for just a minute, and she staggered off to the back of the house. After a minute, she called, asking me to come to the back, because she “needed my help with something.”

She was thoroughly nude, and she asked if I wanted to stay over.

Then she fell over. Giggling madly.

I played the gentleman, of course. I helped her into bed, made sure she was turned onto her side, tucked her in, and turned off the light. She was asleep in seconds. I ended up staying over, since I was in no condition to drive, but I spent the night on the couch.

I suppose she was extremely embarrassed by the whole thing, because she never expressed any other interest to me later, nor did she seem particularly taken with my display of self-control and chivalry. She never mentioned it to me again.

Alas, I remained conspicuously nookieless, much to my dismay. Damn you, fictional comic strip character!

Nookieless, yes – but you’ve earn kudos for being a good person and not taking advantage of someone else. Small compensation, but – well done.

Assuming, of course, Ice Wolf, that she remembers enough to remember what Ogre didn’t do. I one time had an experience vaguely similar to the one in the OP, which situation resulted in a very confused me and a bewildered other person … she didn’t remember what happened.

I’m betting it will start as friends with benefits and will morph into a relationship later.

Generally the more Gentlemenly you are the less nookie you get. Kinda the whole definition of Gentlemen when you think about it.

It’s a simple fact of life that being nice and gentlemanly will occasionally interfere with your access to trim.

Hey, if it was easy we wouldn’t count it as a virtue.

You were given the option to be the kind of asshole who takes advantage of women too intoxicated to make good decisions, and you passed it up. You know you did the right thing here, and that may well have to be enough reward for you.

Having said that…I’d try and arrange some time with this woman in the future. This wouldn’t have happened if she was totally against sleeping with you.

i’m sure we’ve all been there man, and sometimes it’s a hard choice to make, but you made the right one :). as coin said, she’s obv not totally against it, otherwise she wouldnt have even thought about offering. hell, nobody ever gets drunk enough to offer me their body…
