I’ll whore myself out to a reality show, but I need to be true to my Christian values.
 And that’s a big roll eyes, since our emoticon is crappy.

I’m sick of the guest judges who don’t know anything about dancing. (I actually like Julianne as a judge. At least some of the time she actually has something to say about technique or performance and actually gives advice on how to improve). But while Pitbull seemed nice enough his “I thought it was hot” and what’s-his-name’s “you worked hard” a few weeks ago are/were just wastes of time.
A lot of people really stepped up this week. I was glad to see Jonathan get in one good dance, because I kind of like him. I’m also glad to see him leave because I hated his pro. So, so happy she’s gone. I’m sick to death of Sadie’s storyline. One week of “I’m Christian” is one thing. But so far, every single week of her package has been about her parents going over her dance & selecting her outfits is too, too much. It’s going to keep her in, though, because her fan base likes that.
I’m satisfied with Antonio going home. Yes, he was a better dancer than Tommy and Michael, but Antonio wasn’t going to make it much farther, anyway. Plus, he’s pretty boring… the other two are much more interesting people.
While I think it’s fine that he went home, Michael is much more deserving. His dance was so boring. He hardly did anything. But I guess he had lots of racing fans that will keep him around for a while.
I’m still watching, but I have to say, I’m fast forwarding through a lot more than I used to.
I know Ms.Andrews is a perfectly nice girl and I feel bad for it, but she just bores the hell out of me. I don’t need to see the really bad dancers anymore. I can do that watching myself at home. I just want to see good dances by good dancers.
I’m starting to like So You Think You Can Dance better than this show.
I loved Sadie and Mark’s Dawn of the Dead Paso. It had a lot of Paso content. The judges were being way too critical. They knew this was a Halloween special. Everybody focused on fun and spooky dances.
I expect the Derek-haters have plenty to complain about with Bethany getting mostly 10’s (including from Julianne) while Janel and Val got 8s and were criticized for not having enough content. Plus Derek’s team winning the team contest again.
Michael really should have been the one to go, yet again. I like how blunt the judges were about it–especially Len. Nice to have him back!
I kind of sort of liked the idea of it. But Sadie was awful in it. Her posture was bad, her lines were bad, her movements were choppy, it was just a mess.
I like what Mark said to the judges. Along the lines of: ‘We know we need content in the dances, but it’s also a TV show and we have to entertain the fans.’
That was after Derek got dinged again by Len for theatrics. Len clearly doesn’t like Derek or Mark.
I think the producers pressure the dancers to make it more entertaining. Just like the music choice that Cary Ann marked against one of the couples a couple of weeks ago. They were assigned the song. While I appreciate real vs celebrity (read: idiot) judges, they need to dial it back. Look at SYTYCD. Real, constructive criticism, not just nit picky douchiness.
.
I think Len likes both just fine (well maybe he doesn’t like Mark, few people seem to) - but he clearly hates dances that have any more than 1 or 2 seconds of non-dance set up to them or have too many gimmicks.
He, along with all the other judges, seems to over score Derek on a regular basis.
He seems like a nice person, but it was past time for Mike to go. Conversely, Sadie’s a great dancer, but it’s too bad she doesn’t have a better personality.
I’m guessing Tommy will be the next to go.
Sending Tommy home would be a mercy killing. Although he was head and shoulders above Michael.

I’ll be sorry to see less of Emma, but Michael was overdue to be ousted.
I agree with **Nobody **about Sadie–I like watching her dance, but her personality (and her family) grate on my nerves. I thought Mark and Sadie’s “Adam and Eve” dance was–unsurprisingly since it’s Mark–kind of over-the-top and a bit silly.
Bethany is my favorite right now, with Alfonso a close second.
The best line I read about the Duck Dynasty folks is that instead of skeletons, they have a lot of polo shirts in their closets. The family came to their folksy, Christian value, lots of hair and beards rather late in the game, about when they got a TV deal.
In a genre that is all about phoney people, they have emerged as the most fake of any reality TV show. Sadie annoys me because all her talk about Christian values sounds more like she is projecting their brand than based in any honest belief. Add Mark on top of that and it’s excruciating.
Currently, Alfonzo is my favorite.
Shocking news to start the show!!!
Lea was the main reason I watched this season. I knew she couldn’t beat Alfonso but still looked forward to seeing her every week.
Tommy has been an unexpected delight this season. There’s something endearing about the guy. Even cracking hard on jokes. He tries so hard and has a great relationship with Peta. No one else could have gotten away with motor boating Peta a few weeks ago. He’s outrageous but in a good way.
So sad to see Lea go. I expected it a little later in the competition. Oh well.
When Lea and Artem’s first dance started, was I the only one expecting a different song?
Anyway, Len was very generous tonight. Either he’s trying to get away from his grumpy image, or he had some very good sex last night.
Sad to see Lea go, but she was the person who was most often painful to watch. Not because she’s a bad dancer - she’s not - but because her chemistry with Artemus was always so poor. They never seemed to trust each other.
Having Tommy go next is a no-brainer. He’s delightful and fun, but that has taken him as far as it’s likely to go.
Did anyone else notice the weird accent Mark was using in the package before Sadie’s dance? Almost British. Or affected British.

Although Tommy going next is the logical choice, I do think that this recent performance (well, the first one anyway) was heads and tails above last weeks.
