Ok, I’m in…

New poster, but veteran GD lurker. 31, male, never married, no children, nonpracticing Christian of SOME sort or another. Originally from Hawaii, then Tennessee, now in Miami, Florida.

Part-time military officer (made the Captain’s list, God help us all!), full time journalist. (I cover mutual funds. Actually, it’s more interesting and fun than I thought it would be!) Also worked as a music teacher, high school band director, soldier, mental health counselor, and companion to the mentally handicapped. Academic background–literature. (Big mistake.)

Other pursuits? I’m a good jazz/blues guitar player and a bad (but enthusiastic) Irish/Scottish/Nova Scotian/Old time/Bluegrass fiddle player.

Interests in a woman? Well integrity first. All else falls into place, or can be taken away in the blink of an eye. But I can tell the kind of girls who hang out here, being generally well read and intellectually curious, seem to be my kind of girls! :slight_smile:

At least they are if they ADORE sex, too, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to first base.
