David Feherty, you're freaking me out!

There’s a new PGA Golf commercial on CBS with David Feherty.

We have a short version showing him heading to bed and saying his prayers. He says something like “Thank you for letting Phil win a major”, and then crawls into bed. I can live with that one…

The longer version creeps me out. After he pulls the covers up, he reaches into his bed and pulls out a vague looking-Phil Mickelson doll and says “Good night, Phil”.

Ewwwwwwwww.

Anybody else get the jeebies from that?

I only caught the short version, and I thought it was one of the best golf commercials ever.

But now I’m completely freaked out. That was David Feherty? Ewwww. He’s so damn annoying. I tried to read his columns once and was totally disgusted. The doll thing’s pretty weird too.
