What days have a “feel” to you?
I always know its Sunday, just by the feel of it…
Fridays have that feel for me as well…
The rest of the week all feels the same to me.
side note: the word “feel” sounds funny to me now.
No days have a “feel” for me, but I wish they did. I work at home, alone, and Tivo all my TV shows. So I never know what day it is, and am frequently wrong. The only thing I have to do at a specific time is chorus rehearsal on Sunday night . . . and I have occasionally missed rehearsals because it didn’t “feel” like Sunday.
Sundays have always felt grumpy and dreading, because work/school is right around the corner. Even as a kid I was never able to enjoy it.
Thursdays feel optimistic, people seem to be in a better mood as they realize there’s only one more day until the weekend.
Sunday always feel interminable long and quiet.
Friday always feels hectic. Sort of like no one is actually concentrating on thier work/class and are getting ready to dispurse to whatever it is they do on the weekends.
As a child I always felt when it was Sunday as it was always more quiet than the rest of the week.
When I was younger, I got depressed on Sundays. I don’t know why, but I really did just feel awful on Sundays. Monday always feels fresh for me.
Most days have a feel to me, though Tuesday and Wednesday kind of feel alike. Saturdays have the best feel.
Oh, Saturdays always feel special. It’s the best day of the week.
But Sundays have a feeling all their own. It’s a quieter feeling, that lingers even in a world where everything’s open seven days a week. And there is quite often, a funny kind of melancholy feeling in a Sunday, even though it’s still the weekend.
Friday afternoons feel a little giddy at the office.
I work from home - pretty much all my days feel the same.
Monday morning feels so bad, everybody seems to nag me. Coming Tuesday I feel better, even my old man looks good. Wednesday just don’t go, Thursday goes too slow. I’ve got Friday on my mind.
If I have a routine, then days start to acquire feels. That hasn’t happened for over two years now.
