According to Fandango, it premiers Thursday at 12:01 a.m. (which I suspect means tonight at 1 minute past midnight) at the Lowes in Georgetown at the corner of Wisconsin and K.
Anybody up for some midnight madness? It’s not Rocky Horror, but still might be fun.
It’s too late for me on a work night, but it sounds like something the DC dopers would get into. I’ll send out some emails and see if anyone bites.
Ugh, I don’t think so. I know it’s trendy to watch Michael Moore’s movies, but I just don’t think that he can be trusted after the “Documentary” Bowling for Columbine.
People are going to take his tripe for truth at face value and that scares me.
It’s my first time in Washington, but I’m going to have to decline. My plane for Moscow leaves at 7 and I don’t think they’ll want to hold it for me
Well, it’s supposed to be opening nationally on FRIDAY, so I would be inclined to think that the showing you’re talking about would actually be on Thursday night/Friday too-early-to-be-called-morning. Probably best to give the theater a call, I think.
Well crap. You are right. Even though Fandango says the movie will show at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday (which is one minute after midnight tonight), the theater confirmed that the movie starts at 12:01 on Friday.
So in the immortal words of Emily Litella, nevermind.
Aaaaargh! You’re going to Russia?! Lucky duck.
