I figured you guys were still getting together, but I’ve been pretty busy (and also briefly out of town) so I wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway. Put me down as a 50% for tomorrow, but I should be able to make it more frequently in future.

Actually, I didn’t do a lot of stuff I had planned to do on my vacation. My son was not feeling well, and on Friday my brother’s mother-in-law had to go in for emergency surgery and I had to help my mom watch the kids she usually babysits…well, basically a lot of kid-related issues.
Sorry I missed you. Hopefully we can hook up next time.

It is time for our bi-weekly Lunch Bunch gathering. Noon on Friday, April 12 outside the 14th St. exit of the McPherson Square Metro station. Since Monday is my birthday, you call all bring my presents on Friday.

Crap, the one week I gotta bow out of the Bunch. I’m skipping the lunch hour to leave work early to get up to Glendale. The Swedes are having another 30 Years’ War reenactment with a bunch of other groups from different historical periods this weekend and I’m a-gonna camp out with 'em.
