Hello? Anybody out there? Hmmm. I think Lunch Bunch was supposed to be today but no one posted. Oh well, this has been a busy week for me at work any way. Should we plan for May 16?

Lunch Bunch is scheduled for this Friday, May 16 at noon. We’ll meet near the outside elevator at the McPherson Square Metro’s 14th Street exit.
Also, a special lunch bunch is set for Tuesday, May 20 to welcome back one of our wayward members. Aguecheek will be in town visiting and would like to get together for lunch. Who’s in?

No. The presents were to have been sent directly to my house for today. It’s my birthday.
Gotta miss another one - the Olentzero family is heading to Rhode Island for a family gathering. Will definitely be home for the 20th, though, so count me in for that one.

I won’t be able to make the regular Lunch Bunch tomorrow, since I’ve got a meeting that runs until 12:30pm, which means I wouldn’t be able to get downtown until well after 1.
But I’ll be at Tuesday’s special Lunch Bunch, good Lord willing and the work don’t rise.
I only went to one, Aguecheek, so it’s not likely you’d recognize me, seeing as how you weren’t at that one.

Gold star? Why, maybe you could hold out for something better, more indicative of your attendance prowess… like two gold stars!
I of course deserve about 6 gold stars under normal circumstances, but given that I very punkishly skipped that last lunch (I think Soup and a couple others were there?) I didn’t feel right asking.
Now that we’re on to gold stars, I guess I should offer to accept nominations for other gold star bearers. I’m inclined to give them out for superior dope attendance, use of the word “pugilist” in the last 24 hours, superior 4-way stop etiquette, ability to quote “Monty Python,” and…well, I’ll leave at least one category open ended…Who wants???
