I would say that it is becoming more and more difficult to squeeze it into busy schedules (okay, my shcedule is roughest for me, I gotta lotta traveling to do!)…But I really like having a lunch out sometimes with Dopers. Perhaps a Holiday hold and then we can revive the tradition with the New Year?? Or can we at least definitely not put me in charge? Excellent.
I know where you office is…it takes you exactly 1 min. and 37 sec. to get to our meeting place. What kind of travelling do you on your lunch hour?
Aight smarty-pants, travelling from the office to the metro is not difficult, from Denver it’s a bit more time consuming. I’ve got 3 big fun Holiday trips planned (yeah West Coast!) so many Fridays I will be in parts foreign or en route…

I haven’t been at Lunch Bunch in quite awhile, and I just thought I’d pop in long enough to say I expect that to continue for awhile longer.
In my new job, it’s a lot harder for me to duck out of work for a long lunch and not be noticed than it was in my old job. And on Fridays when I don’t work, it’s a long way in from Chesapeake Beach.
Ah well, c’est la vie.
I have been lying in wait for a Lunch Bunch I could attend at the last minute. I work in Virginia, but I live in DC. I just need to be lazier and ‘work at home’ some day. I would hate to see it die before I get my chance.
If anyone is up for it, this Friday, Nov. 14, should be a Lunch Bunch Friday. We meet at noon at the 14th Street exit of McPherson Square near the outside elevator. Anyone in?

OK, I’ll be there and if Panache doesn’t arrive on time, we can go to her office and get her. Maybe even scare her officemates in the process.
There will be no going and fetching of panache! A) She will be on time, and B) She has many high-falutin’ scary upper-echelon-of-management types wandering about the office today and wouldn’t like to get canned today.
Wonder if we’ll get any fresh ones this time (after threatening a brief suspension, all KINDS of people popped out of the woodwork!)

It seems like it has been almost a month since we’ve dined together. Any one up for a lunch before Christmas? I’ll be out of town beginning Dec. 20 but could come either the 12 or 19. Any one want to meet and/or have a preference for the date?
