It was good to get out of the office after playing catchup from missing work Thursday. As long as a handful of us keep the tradition alive during the cold, hard winter months, maybe all these people who keep asking to come and then DON’T SHOW UP will start attending once the weather gets nice.
Ok, ok…I’m sorry!! : ) Friday was a madhouse! I worked right through lunch (Coke and Cheetos)and had to sneak out at quitting time. When is the next lunch? Where? I look forward to meeting everyone; gives a little extra fun to Fridays.
We meet every other Friday at noon at the White House exit of the McPhereson Sq. metro station.
So, the next meeting is on Friday 16 March, the day before, incidentally, the next DC Dopefest (hosted by Jeff Olson).
I’m still unsure if I can make it next time. Anniz will be with me if I do make it, but I have no idea what my employment situation will be then.
Yes, the DC Lunch Bunch will be meeting again this FRiday, March 15, at noon at the White House exit of the McPherson Square metro station. I’m posting this a full week early to give all you slackers fair warning so you can’t come up with a reason not to show. I’d especially point this out to Olentzero, but since Anniz is scheduled to be our international guest, I know he won’t miss it. He’ll probably try to squeeze in beside her and push Montfort off to the side.

I’m so sorry all! I’ve not had anything resembling a social life due to being rather overextended with work. Not that I had a social life before, but at least now I have something to use as an excuse. I’d really love to meet you all! Lunch is actually harder for me to arrange than something after work in the early evening.
