Well, Dang! Where is everybody!

It’s all good though! 
Whew! Sketty sauce bagged and in the freezer - 5 dinners. Several more rows of knitting completed. Dishes loaded, kitchen sorta cleaned.
We’ll be leaving for Mom’s about 11 tomorrow.
I need sleep. And ice cream. But since there’s no ice cream in the house, guess I’ll try the sleep thing…

I ate too much. Today I have consumed:
- Three Eggs Benedict (i.e. three English Muffins, three poached eggs, three Canadian Bacons, and a cup and a half of Hollandaise sauce)
- Five slices of Watermelon
- Three slices of Cantoloupe
- A dozen Steamed Crabs
- A 1/2 pound burger
- A Bratwurst
- 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound of coleslaw
- 1/2 to 3/4 of a pound of potato salad
- 1/4 to 1/2 a pound of Corn and Black Bean Salad
- Apple pie
- Carrot Cake
- Half a roll of Oreos
- A bag of Potato Chips
- Five sodas
And probably some other stuff I can’t remember. I feel like I’m gonna explode - I’m 6’ and 160 pounds and that’s as much food as I usually eat in three days. Man, I LOVE family cookouts!
Also, I am in the process of meeting some new friends! I found another furry in my town via FurAffinity and we’ve been communicating via PM and AIM; apparently he has a few other local furry friends as well, so I’m looking foreward to getting to know the lot of them!
Tomorrow shalt be dedicated to cleaning the Den, which is currently a catastrophic wreck. Also, video games. And maybe reading some more of this ADORABLE webcomic I discovered! Basically, slacking off.
After checking out a couple more songs by Irish Rovers I’m really wonderin’ where did Irishmen get their reputation for drunkenness 
Then again, I like drinking songs and don’t drink, go figure…

Up, after trying to laze about in the cats’ playground. I swear, those felines were on crack this morning!
I’ll be heading to Mom’s in about 3 hours, so I have time to gather everything together, shower, find appropriate clothing, and get on the road. But since my sweetie isn’t going, I don’t much want to go. Bleh… At least I’m not going alone.

I’m hoping my daughter will check in. I haven’t seen her since Thursday night! She’s spending the weekend with her boyfriend.

I saw Star trek yesterday - awesome! I can’t even remember the last movie I saw at the theater. Blew me away!
Today is grocery shopping day, as usual, and laundry.
One more day off tomorrow…yay!

I must have been tired, I went to bed at midnight, and woke up at noon. I need to grocery shop, and clean up a bit.
I’ve had an oddly productive morning. Up way too early to go feed the poor starving neglected unloved (yeah, right) girls, and one load of laundry done and the second in the dryer where it can damned well stay until tomorrow morning, and a trip down to the grocery store in the next town to get some stuff I needed, and home again. And it’s only 11:15.
Blurf. Break time. Kitchen cleaning and bed making will commence, but not right now.
Howdy Y’all! I got churchified and then came home and cleaned out the smoker. ICK! I love my new toy but it’s icky to clean! Took me an hour and a half to make it presentable again. Still, I have lovely smoked chicken to eat upon so it’s all good.
I think it’s nappy poo time!

back from a lte luch/early dinner of really good chinese - even bought some extra stuff to make lunches this week. The fortunes were not snerk worthy

Rosie I joined the new need a puter club a little while ago. My five and a half year old desktop bit the dust. Well,it’s fixable but I’m gettin’ a new cpu or whatever the dang things are called. No need for a monitor and speakers bein’ as I have a good monitor and speakers.
I’m on my laptop now which is good on trips and stuff but I want a desktop for use at home. Besides I have this really nice desk that needs to have a functionin’ ‘puter sittin’ on it.
Blah.
I’ve just been sleeping and sitting and watching movies today. I brought all my craft stuff with me to work on, but my back still hurts sometimes. And it hurts, in particular, when I’m sitting in a chair at the dining room table.:dubious:
I watched Made of Honor and now I’m watching Gilda.
Back from the party. It was nice, but hot and sticky after a while. I’m eating leftover sketties.
Soon, I’ll assume the knitting posture. Glad I’m off tomorrow.

I went and bought tailgate fixing for Tuesday, and dogfood(thus avoiding cannibalism at Casa Pero). Otherwise I ain’t done jack.
swampy and rosie, I saved $300 by buying a new computer, instead of upgrading all the parts that needed upgrading.

Our bike ride was cut short today because Mr. Taters’ pedal fell off.
We couldn’t screw it back into the arm assembly, because the socket was stripped. Unfortunately, the pedal fell off nearly three miles into the ride.
We ended up having to turn around. Mr. Taters didn’t want to walk the whole distance, so he basically would pedal with the good pedal and rest his foot on the arm assembly. When the pedalless assembly was up, he’d push down on it. It made for quite a workout.
At any rate, we got it repaired. We stopped at a bike store where the proprietor was extremely helpful. He gave us tips, showed us how to repair our chains, fix our brakes, gave us trail maps, everything. We’ll definitely go back there for any repairs or assistance. They’re a little spendy, but it was worth it. We also bought a couple tools in case our bikes do break down again.
I’m heating up the grill now. We’re going to have beef shish kabobs (kebobs?) for chop-chop.
It should be ready now, so I guess I’ll toss them on there.
