Absolutely. We can be against the Muslims who commit acts of terrorism and simultaneously support the Muslims who are victims of hate crimes. There’s no reason to try to have one principle that applies to all Muslims.
And we can oppose both hate crimes and false accusations of hate crimes. Just like we can oppose both rape and false accusations of rape.
