A comedy/parody site (b3ta.com) I was visiting had a link to Dennis Madalone’s video - America We Stand As One. Given that previous links from b3ta had gone to other funny sites, I assumed Madalone’s would be as well. I watched the video and guffawed through its entire length. What wonderful satire!
To say I was stunned when I was told that the video and song were meant to be taken seriously, was an understatement. In fact, I’m still not certain that the whole thing isn’t a satire.

Yeah, there were a couple of threads about this, this…thing some time back. Even the most patriotic of Dopers found it to be sappy, moronic, and utterly hilarious. The guy’s heart was in the right place, I know, but…UGH! He should’ve stuck to stuntwork.
