Sorry, that just jumped into my forebrain after 15 years or more and I had to exorcise it.

Honk if you know what I'm talking about.

- brain-fart-vark.

Where is that from? It’s familiar? A cartoon?

I haven’t seen that cartoon in ages!

But man, when I saw the thread title, it brought back memories.

Thanks, haardvark.

“Feelthee. Dees-gust-eeng.”

Yesterdayland explains it all

can anyone else verify the veracity of Astro’s link info? ‘cos I remember this cartoon well but I never watched Moose and Squirrel much. (I was more of a bugs and Tom n’ Jerry type fella).

You dare to doubt my veracity young earth pig?!

Here is another (different) explanation

and another one

and yet another

Now we’re getting somewhere…

La Petite Parade

Harveytoons. Not Moose and Squirrel.

I had a real love hate relationship with the Casper show, 'cos I liked all the cartoons EXCEPT FOR the Casper ones! He was such a lame little twerp.

Seems to me that if the little Jackinthebox dude with the Harveytoons sign popped up at the beginning, this meant that it would not be a Casper toon, and I would do the happy dance in my blue airplane pajamas on the living room floor.

thanks for clearing that up. Of course, the tune is STILL stuck in my head…
