Given the massive outpouring of support for the racist assholes from the conservatives, why NOT debate “Why is the republican party so goddamn racist” or “What is it about conservatives and racism that cause them to go hand in hand” ? I mean, it’s not an insult, it’s a debatable premise…

Sorry, didn’t really address the point you were making here. You certainly can debate either of those, though I suggest you take the ‘goddamn’ out of it. But feel free to post either…I’m fairly sure the mods will allow the debate on either. You’re talking about transsexuals, not transgendered individuals in general. The two are in fact polar opposites of one another.
Whether a creature - any creature - is male or female is a question of physical attributes. A man is male for the same reason a bull is male or a worker bee is female. If you are a male who believes themselves to be female, you are factually incorrect. Holding this factually incorrect belief despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, to the point where you would subject yourself to major surgery to “correct” it, is delusional.
And it’s not an insult to point out something that is factually true just because it isn’t a good thing. If you drink and drive, it is not an insult to say you are a drunk driver.
