Bree finds out something about her daughter’s business, Gabi wants to get even with a parent volunteer at school, and Tom may be dating again.
one bump
Was that a different actress playing Danielle?
Sorry, I watch the show on line on Monday, so I don’t comment during the airing of the show.
But aside from the stupid plotline of Renee pushing herself on the new Australian neighbor, I’m liking this season. The note is, thus far, a total puzzle to me (though I imagine Zach might be involved. I’m pretty sure he knew about it, but was conspicuously absent from Bree’s discussion with Paul).
Tom didn’t appear at all in the last episode. I guess I needed to be reminded that the title of the show is HOUSEWIVES, the men are peripheral. But I do hope that if Lynette’s epiphany last week has any meaning, they’ll get back together. They’ve always been my favorite couple.
And finally…emergency bra shopping? Boobs don’t just pop into existence, they grow gradually, and a girl with emerging ones can certainly wait until the other parent comes home to get her first bra. That plot would have made much more sense if Bob’s and Lee’s agreement had been reversed and he couldn’t deal with her first period. Still, I can totally feel for Bob’s fears of his daughter possibly needing a woman in her life.
Looked like the original to me.
Does being the head of the PTA really destroy your life?? I can’t think of a worse candidate for the job than Gaby.
Couldn’t Gaby just drop off her daughter on the street corner next to the school and have her walk the rest of the way by herself? Or is the rule that the parent has to drop off the kid themselves?
I’m sure it’s some sort of CYA safety rule by the school.
And being head of the PTA does not “destroy your life.” It certainly is a time commitment, but it can be managed, unless you’re the overbearing, micro-managing type, or unless there isn’t a group of community-minded parents who will willingly work with you. My wife was PTA vice president for two years and president for two years for my boys’ school, and our life was perfectly fine during that period.
But yes, Gabby is the worst possible candidate for the job. Or for any job, for that matter.
I think Juanita is a hoot, but I wonder whatever happened to the other daughter, can’t remember the last time I saw her. Maybe she goes to another school on the bus… The first time I drove my daughter to school when she missed the bus, I was aghast at the sight of 50 school buses lined up in the circle. Not sure where to pull up the car. It was a raging snowstorm and somehow I got off the road and ended up driving across the lawn. The next month’s school newsletter had a special message just for me, about the proper procedure for dropping off kids, i.e., no short cuts across the school lawn. Never heard the end of that one!
Celia Solis–yeah, where the heck is she?
