How do you get batteries to reload? Is it the food and energy bars I see around?
The last one fills on its own, any battery that is not completely depleted also fills on its own. For the rest, yeah the energy bars.
Does that piss anyone else off? I wish there was an upgrade that causes all of your bars to refill on their own. For some reason I just hoard energy bars and can’t ever bring myself to use them.
It’s no different than ammo conservation, having unlimited resources would make it a different game.
I just played… way too long in a row. This is a very very good game. I think it’s going to be impossible to compare the quality with the first game since part of the reason why that was so good is because of how different it was. The style here is the same. I really like the cover system, although it’s clunky if there are like 3 corners in a row, and sometimes if a guy gets close while you’re in cover mode, it’s hard to pop out and attack him.
The story is less epic so far, although I expect that to change soon.
Ugh, I got a bug in the Talion A.D. quest, a fact which I find extremely annoying. Basically, you can get stuck where it won’t updte, even though you’d done everything possible to move forward. No update == no quest.
Second boss help:
I’m at the end of Picus level with the boss, having a hard time killing that bitch, any tips?
Actually, you just need the space in your inventory.
If you are overloaded then open inventory and make enough space. The space does not need to be contiguous.
Close inventory and pickup your item. If you have the available slots to fit the item it will fit. The game rearranges things for you.
It’s a setting under the options menu to use auto-arrange.
Picked it up for 360. It’s like if Mass Effect 2 and Alpha Protocol had a baby. Liking it so far, especially the immediate reactions to your choices in mission.
Do missions have a time limit? The first time I went into the office place the boss kept chewing me out for farting around talking to randomers.
Some options in a mission have a limit. For example:
Saving the hostages at the factory
For the second boss, I used the heavy rifle that was found near that area. I’d wait by the reactors on the outside, when she charges and blows them up, it would stun her for a little.
When she’s cloaked, you can tell where she is by watching the floor – it’s covered with an inch of water and her footsteps will cause splashing. Once you zero her position, hit her with the stun gun then unload the weapon of your choice in her face.
Thanks.
Are other people having problems with the Talion quest? It says to read the pocket secretary, which I do and then nothing happens and it still tells me to read the pocket secretary. Do I just have to go looking in the sewers?
I had that problem too. Went into the sewers and didn’t see anything. I might have checked the wrong part though. I think there might be two or more unconnected sewers there.
There are. It took me a while to find him, too. If the sewers you’re in has a bunch of Harvesters in it, you’re in the wrong one. Go to the other district.
There’s a setting for that?
I believe you (have not looked myself) but just cannot imagine anyone choosing for it to be other than auto-arrange.
Are there people who really find dorking with inventory slots fun?
FWIW what I usually do is keep an inventory of the things I need and as much of it as I can carry.
When loaded up (which is all the time) and I come across something like a weapon upgrade I drop crap from my inventory to make room for it.
Once the upgrade is in inventory I apply it to a weapon then pick up the junk I dropped.
When Malik died my commitment to non lethal stealthy problem solving vanished into thing air. My new motto is leave no face unstabbed.
Can you save her if you act fast enough?
So i hear, it did not occur to me at the time and i don’t have a save game from before.
