Dexter: Resurrection

“Dexter: Resurrection” will premiere its first two episodes Friday, July 11 on Paramount+ Premium.

For those watching on cable, “Dexter: Resurrection” will air on Showtime on Sunday, July 13, 8 PM ET/PT.

The official logline of “Dexter Resurrection” reads, “Weeks after Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son, he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace.”

“Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But closure won’t come easily. When Miami Metro’s Angel Batista (David Zayas) arrives with questions, Dexter realizes his past is catching up to him fast.”

Trailer:

Interview with Michael Hall. Apparently more than one season is planned.

The first two episodes weren’t bad. Better than the prequel series.

I enjoyed the prequel, particularly some of the casting choices.

Just finished episode 4. I think it is really well wriien so far.

I liked ‘Dexter: The Wonder Years’ too, and I agree some of the casting choices were spot-on, young Dexter excepted. But having Michael C. Hall in the Daniel Stern role saved it.

I’m 3 episodes into D:R, and enjoying it so far. Looking forward to the ‘Serial Killers’ Gala’ episode(s?) with all the guest star roles coming up, that’s been relentlessly previewed on the streaming channels. Looks like they’re really leaning into the dark humor aspect of the show.

5 episodes in and it is still the best season in a long time. Plus, talk about your viral marketing:
