Well, unless Pete was willing to make the supreme sacrifice and go on BOTH nights(one with Kelliebeans and one with the rest of the group. But I don’t think we could ask Pete to go see Army of Darkness TWICE. 
Plus that would still leave Ag out.

Kelliebeans and I definitely want to go Friday. I think, at the very least, Aglarond and Grace should come with us.
Steven, I understand the difficulty of finding the babysitter, but will you not face a similar problem Saturday night?
Saturday would be better for me but I might be able to do Friday.
I’ll have to check with Mrs. Chef to see if she minds.
Saturday works for us because Mtgman’s mom is keeping the kids for the night. She does this once a month, and we are really grateful for it. Mtgman is still trying to find a sitter for Friday though. However, one of the kids may be sick so I just might end up being the sitter.

I hereby change our vote to Saturday. I can still go tonight, but without Kellie it’s going to be half as fun…
I think Saturday night will work better for lots of folks. I know minty green is out of town in Mexico, returning today or tonight. He, and his wife if she’s interested, may not be up to a midnight movie after the trip back to Dallas from Mexico.

I can’t come tonight. I was at the Stars game last night and didn’t get home until around 1:30. Goliath, having slept since about 4:00PM was wide awake. I didn’t get to sleep until 3:00. I doubt that I can last until 2:00 AM. Saturday is iffy, I have plans to go have some beers with my friend who came to Dr. Strangelove, I’ll see if he is interested.

Grace started this thread, so I say we make her decide.
Typically Grace or Zyada or one of our primary dopefest planners puts their foot down and says “This day.” after a deliberation such as we’ve seen occurs. As of now Saturday seems ahead to me, but I defer to one of our socialites for the final word.
BBJ, it looks like we’re planning a dinner before the movie. Typically reservations are made in the name of Adams. Show up and say you’re with the Adams family and they’ll show you to the table. If you don’t come to dinner then you could look at a photo of a fair number of the DFW dopers at the Arborwood forums. If you just meet us at the lounge for drinks, look for some of these faces. We may well be standing in the aisles because tables are hard to come by in that place.
minty probably a good thing you weren’t checking the boards. We’ve had no less than two gun debates and a rant on the 17th ammendment, two of which were started by that paragon of intelligence Razorsharp. I don’t think you would have found your time away very restful if you had been reading GD this week.

Heh, once we finish dinner or get kicked out of the resturant? Most resturants in the area close around 10 or 11 IIRC(although minty, as a resident of the area, could give a better report) so we’ll be at the lounge probably between 10:30 and 11:30. Last time we got there ~ 10:45 IIRC and hung out until the movie was due to start.
Next question is where are we going to eat?!?

Our reservation at Cafe Italia last time was for 9:45, and while we were pretty much the last ones in the place by the time we left around 11:00, they didn’t seem to mind. Celebration lists its closing time as 10:30, and I’m certainly not opposed to 90 minutes of refreshing beverages at the Lounge before the movie. Once again, I say we make Grace decide.
mrs. green’s participation will be a game time decision. She’s feeling a wee bit pregnant these days.
Congratulations to the green family from the man’s!
Moxmaiden and I are celebrating as well, our anniversary(seven years), so a nice dinner at a nice place would be just ducky with us.

Saturday, April 26th
We’ll meet at Celebration on Lover’s Lane. I will call and make a reservation for 9:30 if I can get a count. (For those of you who haven’t met me, 9:30 means I’ll get there around 9:45.) After dinner, we’ll move over to the Lounge for drinks. I’m guessing we’ll get there around 11 p.m. That’s around the time the busboys at Celebration were giving us the dirty looks last time.
I hope everyone doesn’t mind eating at Celebration. They seem to have a little more room for a group our size.
