I’ve been having the absolute worst week of my life [on many levels] and haven’t had the chance to post often. Most of it’s really petty stuff in light of Tuesday, but the whole thing all rolled together has ben occupying my time and draining my emotional and mental energy. Plus, I’m a bit sick right now.

So, Hackwood is way out in BFE… anyone wanna supply directions?
Well, here’s their map, but I don’t know how helpful that will be. My directions won’t be much better:
From N. Dallas, take take 635 west to 121, 121 to 114 and follow 114 West. Hopefully, right before 35W there will be a sign directing you to turn left, and more signs to guide you to their parking lot.
I’m sure JimB wouldn’t mind if you wanted to meet up with him in Grapevine.
Sure, Zy, I’ll be glad to meet anyone in Grapevine that might have trouble getting there.

Actually, that sounds like a good idea. Last year we went to supper at Bennigan’s after spending the afternoon at Hawkwood. We could meet at Bennigan’s at Grapevine Mills and carpool to Hawkwood, then eat there afterwards. How does that sound to y’all? We don’t have to choose Bennigan’s either, if the thought of that makes someone barf. Lot’s of restaurants in that general area.
And how about meeting at 2:00 at the chosen restaurant and going from there.
BTW, Grace, you and I should try to be there at 1:30. Not because we need to do something before anyone else gets there, but that will ensure that we get there about the same time as everyone else. 
I really do try to get there on time. Really! Honest! You’re probably right though. I’ll aim for 1:30 instead of 2:00.
Oops! I forgot to mention that I talked to Aglarond and he said he’d go too. He did ask that we send out an email to give him the information. He’s still not able to access the board from work. Sending an email is probably a good idea just in case some other DFW Dopers have missed this thread.

Arg. I hate to do this, especially since it was originally my schedule that conflicted with a Saturday outing. My IFGS game has been moved to Sunday, so I won’t be able to make it after all. Somebody drink some mead for me, OK?
Would it help if we moved it to saturday? Would anyone but SMUsax have a problem with that?

I work Saturdays. If it has to be a saturday, could it be an evening thing? [I don’t know how Hawkwood operates…]
Since I’ve been fired as of last Tuesday (talk about timing!) and am back home in beautiful post-industrial Garland, I’m down as a tentative.
The only possible conflict is if I find gainful employment in the meantime and my new job schedule conflicts with my being abe to go.
If I come, I’ll be in costume as well (hmmm…kilt or tights?).
