That’s right, I’m already ready for another IRL party. We have chat ho’s and board sluts, what am I, a party tart?
I’d like to have a party sometime in August. Aglarond said something about checking out the restaurants in his area, any success? Should we do lunch or supper? Or we could go to Hawkwood. Or we could go on a field trip to the FW musuem of Science & History. (<giggle> there’s an exhibit there I think we need to see <giggle>)
If we leave out next weekend (too soon) that’s
12, 13, 19, 20, 26 or 27th.
I don’t care, I just want to see my friends again, and meet some of the people around here that I haven’t gotten a chance to yet.
The only day that I can’t make it is the 13th. We have season tickets for the Cowboys and that’s a home game so I won’t be able to make it if that’s the date choosen by everyone.
Other than that, I’m free for any of the other dates you listed.
I’d personally vote for the 12th. My wife and son are out of town from the 5th through the 13th, and by then I’ll be starved for company. After that it will be harder for me to make it, because she’s very jealous of people stealing me away from her…and who can blame her? grin

Being the age I am, I don’t think I’d do anything more than take a peek at who all these people are and then leave. 'Sides, I’m not a regular poster. I have no special status.
So we’ve narrowed it down to the 12th or the 26th. Cheffie, you can always bring your wife I just realized the 27th is out cause I definitely have to do family that day.

Can’t do it the 26th. I have to drink that weekend. Yes, that’s right…it’s the Meridian BBQ Cookoff! ::the roar of the crowd is deafening:: I help work it every year, so I’m outta commision that weekend.
I can do the 12th, though. If you guys REALLY, REALLY(hint, hint) want to come closer to my area, we can hit restaraunt row in Addison. I’m not sure how convenient that is for everybody, though. So, since I’m too lazy to get off my ass and plan this like I said I might, I’d say it’s up to Zyada.
OK. I think we seem to be pretty much alright for the 12th in Addison. I know everybody agrees and we’re not listening to those who don’t(wow…I feel like a Thread Nazi). Any favorite restaurants? Addison works out wonderfully for me. I live in Frisco so that’s just a short ride to Addison.
I’m trying to think of some places on Beltline near the Tollway. I know there’s the Flying Saucer, Houston’s, Fridays, Steak and Ale, El Fenix, Champs (please say no to that one), Tokyo One Japanese (they have a buffet but it’s kinda pricey), Olive Garden, Landry’s, Steak and Ale, Macaroni Grill, Toma Roma, Kobe Steaks, Blue Mesa (southwestern food) and many, many other restaurants and bars. I believe the Comedy Improv is on Beltline too.
