Well, it appears that I can no longer mae it to Hawkwood. Due to a schedule change, I now have two papers that I have to write on Sunday. There’s no way around it. I have to skip this get-together.

Ok, I’m a ditz! 
Looks like it’s full price at Bennigans. Hootee is packing for the move to Lubbock next week and is unable to attend Hawkwood on Sunday. We’re also losing Aglarond. He forgot about Hawkwood and made plans to visit his grandparents. For those of you who read The Onion, I think his visit echoes the sentiments of the article “A Shattered Nation Longs to Care about Stupid Bullshit Again.”

I’m going to beg off on Hawkwood, in favor of attending TRF sometime in November. That way we have the possibility of getting the D/FW and Houston crowds together.
I’m looking at the possibility of the second or third weekend in November.
Only if you promise to wear your kilt to TRF!
Since I and others are planning on making it a several day affair, I can do several costumes!
I thought I’d give this a bump just to let everyone know that we actually did go there. We had a great time as usually for the DFW family.
The ones that made it were psiekier, Kookalouris, Grace, Zyada, Hooteewho, Palmyra and, of course, yours truly. Balance made an appearance late in the day but he looked to road weary, I’m not sure he remembers.
We had drenched a few guys, heard some dirty songs, and just had fun.
I’m looking foward to next weekend at the state fair.

Don’t you mean the DFW ladies drenched a few guys? There was a booth at Hawkwood where you could throw wooden blocks at a target and if you hit it, it drenched the workers. One of the guys working made the comment that girls couldn’t throw and we took offense to that so we bought some tickets and proceeded to soak the living crap out of those fellas. The DFW guys didn’t do anything, but stand there and watch. That’s okay though…they probably were still in shock over Lily’s breasts and the dirty songs.
And, by the way, we have pictures, including Lily’s breasts and the drenchings and, for those interested, Pete’s butt.
