I’ve converted all but one of my charcters to D2X. Been too busy bringing the new characters up with the rest of 'em. I won’t be on BNet until I clear up my problem with AOL freezing. You should get the expansion, wishbone. Lots of added stuff and the doubled stash size is a great help. Plus you get to see NPCs fighting in Act V, not just your hireling!
Now that my problems with AOL seems to be fixed, I may be on USEast more often. Here’s a list of my current open characters:

All my characters except Bul-Kuroth are expansion. Only reason he hasn’t been converted is I’ve been too busy with the others.
I have a level 64 Assassin on US West. My account is (V)onster, so look me up sometime. My Assassin character is God_Dammit.
I also have a Paladin and a Sorceress that I just started.
I am so jealous…
I can’t play yet because I’m weak. I’m so weak, that if I start to play, nothing else of any meaning will be accomplished. So I have to put it off until I get other things handled and out of the way.
Which may take months.
So I hate you all.
And now I have the answer to “posters you are jealous of” - the ones who can control themselves playing D2… or have the time to cut loose.

By the by, everybody, my sorceress (Jokirin, if you remember) is now level 62… I’m gonna be making runs through the Bloody Foothills if you need me.
Am I the only one who uses the charcater descriptions in the manuals as a guide in naming a character? IIRC, except for my necro and paly, I based my charactes’ names on the ones that appear in the descriptions. My necro is named after Frank Welker, who provided voices (including the Necromancer) for Baldur’s Gate and the paly is the namesake of Richard Boone (The Paladin in Have Gun, Will Travel).
I guess the lack of replies indicate that I probably am the only one that does so.
Anyway, I should be on open BNet USEast for a few hours tonight, starting around 6 Eastern. If anyone is up for some co-adventuring, let me know. And which character you’d like me to bring. 
I just name my characters based on what I think would be amusing or interesting… or just “different”. For example, my first sorc was named “Zippy”. My current sorc, Jokirin, was named on a female roleplay character I had for a while. My barb is named “Bicep_Boy”, for obvious reasons.
I go with a theme.
Paladin : Weirddave
Sorceror : Weirdwitch
Barbarian: Weirdone
Necro : Weirddead
Amazon : Weirdwench
Haven’t tried the new classes yet, but will prolly be Weirdbeast and Weirdwraith when I do.
Or, based on how the Assassin sounds when she gets hit, or when she dies, you should probably name her “Weirdslut”. And your Druid can go with “Weirdbore”.
