I was a ‘Member’ before I renewed this time around and I am still a ‘Member’
I can’t imagine ever ignoring the emails to update my subscription so in theory I should still be a CM.
Did I miss out a year’s payment?

Take a look at you current subscription (User CP -> Paid Subscriptions)
Check the Expiry Date.
If that date is later than April 28, 2008, you renewed too late and you now, in fact, a lowly Member.
If the Expiry Date is exactly April 28, 2008, your title is in error and I suggest you e-mail an Admin.
Lobsang, the system says you renewed your subscription 5-10-2006. That’s beyond the window for Charter Member, so I would think at some point this expired on you and you resubscribed at a point past the grace period, etc.
You’re here now, that’s what really counts.

Perhaps we could charge him a premium fee to reinstate in charter status! 
A few years back we had a large number of Charter Members who missed the boat and forgot to resubscribe. Jerry reversed a couple hundred of those out and swore he’d never do it again, period. I think that’s where we are with this today.
