Just to clarify: FMG, the way I read your OP is that you could see her actual nipples and areolae through her clothes – colors, textures, and all. I think the way some people are reading it is that you could see the bumps her nipples made through the fabric. Am I correct that you could essentially see everything, not just nipple-bumpage?
Because if it were me, and I were a woman, I would be extremely embarrassed if people could see everything (as in this picture of Alexandra Kerry). If it was just bumps, well, that’s a lot more common and isn’t really that embarrassing. I’d probably appreciate it AND be embarrassed if you pointed it out to me if everybody could see through my shirt, but probably wouldn’t care that much if it were just fabric bumps.
If you asked her to open her sweater it might be harrassment, but you asked her to close it. I would have avoided using the term “nipples”, but you didn’t do anything wrong, and I doubt anyone would have a case that you did.
Well, I didn’t think it would be as bad as Ms. Kerry had it – I was just using it as an example to see if what you were talking about was something similar, in that you could actually SEE the nipples and aereolae, rather than just see the bumps made through the fabric by the nipples. And it sounds like I was right … so if it were me, or my wife, or one of my daughters, I’d definitely be appreciative (but still embarrassed) that you pointed it out, especially so quietly.
In any caes, as long as I didn’t get a skeevy vibe from you like you were leering, I’d think you were just a helpful guy.
