Tthere have been numerous instances where something embarrassing got posted on someone’s social media account and they claimed they were hacked.
Without passing judgment in this particular instance, have such claims of hacking ever been documented?

She spent a lot of time with Trump over the past five years. That has got to desensitize you to 1) doing terrible things, and 2) caring about the privacy rights of 16 year old girls.
Good point. I feel if the average parent found a nude picture of their daughter on her phone, they would either 1. pretend they never saw it; 2. delete it, or; 3. sit their daughter down for a heart-to-heart talk. Copying it on to their own phone is not a response I feel most parents would choose.

Being the smartest person in a room full of Trump sycophants isn’t exactly clearing a high bar. You could put your average mope at a table with Eric Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and Michael Cohen, and he’d likely beat them handily at Scrabble.
But for what it is worth, I suspect the daughter posted it herself to Conway’s account just to stir up shit, because when you are in a household with two unscrupulous professional manipulators as parents, you learn to do slimy, underhanded things to get control as a matter of course.

Adding a couple pieces of information. Just this weekend Claudia posted edited videos that seemed to show Kellyanne screaming at her, cursing her out, and at one point striking her. The voice is absolutely Kellyanne and the words are beyond vile. Regardless of how they were snipped, it was stomach turning. Police came to to a wellness check and told Kellyanne to take Claudia’s phone.
The picture of Claudia was posted to Kellyanne’s twitter account as a fleet. Think instagram story, if you know what that is. It appears to be a picture taken of a picture taken on a phone, if that makes sense. Claudia believes her mother took it one time when Kellyanne had her phone. Lastly, Claudia released audio of the Conway family discussing this picture being posted and Kellyanne can be heard at one point saying no one intentionally posted the photo and Claudia should be institutionalized.
My opinion based on nothing but these items and complete supposition? Kellyanne had no idea how to send herself the pic (or was worried that would somehow be worse than taking a picture of it) and kept it to use against Claudia in all these dealings with CPS and police. After this weekend she went to post a fleet to twitter to show Claudia is a monster and accidentally/ironically included this pic in what was meant to be a series of pics.
Bottom line? The Conway parents are deplorable and people will go out of their way to blame a teenage girl who is honestly being abused for everything. George posted essentially a hostage video of Claudia telling everyone to leave her parents alone and that they are only “fighting like mothers and daughters”.
Why am I following this hot garbage? Because I have a teenage daughter, I work in child protection, and I find the misogyny fascinating since no one is blaming George who is tweeting away like no biggie. Both parents are worthless.
I’ll take my lumps if I’m wrong. I’d rather err on the side of believing and protecting children.

These parts of your post give me information I did not have before. This has resulted in me changing my opinion of what is most likely.
I didn’t know about any recorded abuse before this. I was under the impression that Claudia’s video saying they were just fighting like mothers and daughters was uncoerced. I knew nothing about George’s involvement, or that there was a recording of the discussion.
I have said that it’s unlikely that Kellyanne would be dumb enough to post child porn on purpose. But the theory she did it on accident as part of some other attempt to attack her daughter online seems a lot more like the most likely scenario.
Oh and WTF with the police response? You have more knowledge on this than I do. Is that as abuse-enabling as it sounds like?

What would your reaction be if somebody told you, “My daughter is doing stupid, potentially dangerous things, but I have nothing I can show you to back up my assertions”?
None of that would be a reason to take a picture of her daughter’s nude photo. It would prove nothing but that she took a photo of herself topless to see how it looked.
Sure, maybe she did something else with that photo, but taking a photo of a photo won’t tell you what she did.
Plus, if you read above, we have evidence of her mom physically and verbally abusing her.

When my now-adult son was in grade school, he came to me asking what he should do about the picture a girl in his class sent to him. He handed me his phone, and OMG, there’s a topless selfie (no face).
I sat him down for a heart-to-heart. I assured him he’d done nothing wrong. I explained that the picture itself was criminal, and why we had laws like that in place. I explained that I was going to call my lawyer for advice, and we would likely need to talk to the girl’s parents. I told him he might have to explain to the police how he came into possession of the picture. I repeatedly reassured him that we would address this and everything would be fine.
Then my son started laughing. He showed me another picture, face included, of his chubby male classmate with boy-boobs.
It sounds like an accidental post. It seems unthinkable that any mother would deliberately humilate their own daughter.
I do fear for Claudia’s future. She’ll turn 18 in less than two years. She’ll be responsible for her own decisions and the consequences. I can’t help but wonder what her future holds.
It’s a tragic situation for the entire family.
