This fallacy is so tired. The idea that one cannot poke fun at one’s enemies while still governing is cliche.

Different strokes for different folks, of course, but when you tell someone “fuck you,” you’re usually not poking fun at them- you’re telling them they’re fucks, and what you think about that.

The first article I read about this made it seem unintentional, because they were too pussy to write out the word “fuck.” They also didn’t show or link to the actual letter.
After seeing it, definitely intentional. And awesome, and I even kinda like Amiano.

“Fuck you” qualifies as poking fun now? Seems to me more the kind of verbal lashing out one expects from junior high school kids, not a governor acting in his official capacity. It was disgraceful when Cheney did, but at least he had the excuse of speaking extemporaneously.

On another board someone was trying to point out that Obama golfed too much to effectively govern as though he can’t do business on the links like everyone else in the western world.

This has fuck all to do with it.
