Well, my sister entered me in a contest for a two night stay in New York and a dinner at the James Beard house and I won!
We head to NYC tomorrow for a fabulous dinner at the JBH and two nights playing in New York.

Anyone ever eaten at the James Beard House? How was it?
Hey congrats! I’m not trying to be a Debbie Downer here, but the weather actually is pretty bad right now. We’re under a winter storm warning until Saturday morning, and a lot of schools are closed tomorrow. How are you planning on coming in?
Yeah- we’ve been watching the weather! Not pleased.
We’re coming into Grand Central on Metro North from Connecticut.

We’re actually having the Friday night dinner- Mushrooms is the theme! I adore mushrooms!!!
Must be a different guy. The James Beard I (sorta) know lives in Texas, and isn’t really known for his cooking. 
Off to our dinner! The snow was not a big deal, our hotel is great and dinner is soon!
